Torquay Front Beach
Came here on our way through to the Great Ocean Road. A beautiful beach that's dog friendly. A magpie tried to beg for my food and that was a first for me. It's an easy 5 stars from me!

Lovely foreshore! Small average playground with toilet facilities. Parking down the road (can get busy and full early). Great outlook and the beach is warm and inviting with patrolled areas.

A fairly good beach. It's large and has different parts to swim at with some parts of the beach having a higher sand bar compared to others.The waves don't get too rough here compared to the opposite beach, however because of the undercurrent and its proximity to the cliff, more seaweed washes up more often near the shore.

Wonderful, clean, sandy beach. Ideal for children and nervous swimmers as no rips. Plenty of beech so no crowding. Gentle waves, clear water. Rock pools to explore. Plenty of parking. Public toilets. Water is cold, but what do you expect in Victoria. Still great to swim in. A fantastic place to spend time at.

Hospitality training desperately needed for staff.7 hot Beverages ordered, 6 cold and unpleasant to drink. Almond milk latte undrinkable and the staff had no idea how to respond. Not charged for this, thank you. Not their fault clearly not trained to deal with circumstances as this.

Torquay beach is a very nice location for a quick stop, there’s a park here with a row of trees which makes for great picturesThe park had benches and you can rest a bit before continuing your journeyThe locals are walking there dogs here, the environment is serene and quietReally like this beach and Torquay in general

Beautiful location. On hot days you probably want to try and get there really early as parking close to the beach could be a bit of a task. Apart from that, plenty of space and grassland to setup your spot.
