Bakers Delight Yarraville High St

Love the Turkish bread.Not many left making good classic bread.

I am continually impressed by the quality of sweets and savouries provided late in the day. They are consistantly soft, fluffy and filled with a good amount of toppings. I highly reccomend the vegetarian pizza and apple strudel scone. Delicious!

If I could give zero stars I would. I walked in today and basically everything was burnt. Kylie and her assistant looked like they had 100 better things to do. Completely ignored me when I spoke to them. When I asked why everything looked burnt instead of apologising, Kylie proceeded to argue with me and tell me that she works there everyday and the items are this way everyday. And also refused to say they were burnt.

Early this morning had a dreadful experience with a young person who was behind the counter at Yarraville Bakers Delight.No communication skills,no sales skills ,just no skills at all.They grunted at me - when I asked if they had croissants they grunted.I than had to enquire where they were they seemed to think that I should have an intimate knowledge of product store layout.When I asked again they pointed to the other end of the counter.I went there found a bag of croissants - by that time they had walked to that end , I had walked back to where they had been.I stood waiting to be served - the young person remained at the other end of the counter serving no one.Eventually returned to where I was waiting ,typed in the amount and waited for me to reach across the counter to tap my card.This young person spoke in grunts,barely moved and made limited attempt to serve myself.Such poor skills in life communication I have rarely seen.I'm sad for them and their lack of training in life and in work.

The staff are usually rude. This morning I asked for a loaf of bread. The staff member asked me if i wanted a pre-sliced loaf. I politely asked if i could have it freshly cut. This request was greeted with silence and a prolonged look before the staff member, seemingly outraged by the request, shuffled off to do it without responding. It took 30 seconds.

Very well stocked with lots of variety of rolls, buns, bread loafs and much more. The staff are always happy to greet the customers with a smiling face and definately patience whilst the customer takes their time to decide what they really wish to purchase. Very hygienic when handling the food stuff which great to see.

Only recently started to buy my bread from Bakers Delight and should have done it much earlier. Much more fresher than the supermarket.

I like bakers delight, but a bag of hot cross bun cost $9 is a bit too much.
