Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience here with Mark Davies after years of excellent service with Gary. During a simple clean Mark managed to remove the enamel from the back of 2 of my front lower teeth. When I pointed out my concerns I went back to see Mark and he rounded off the sharp edges that were left around the holes he had created - sharp edges and holes that weren't previously there. When asked about it Mark denied that it happened during the clean, even though he had never seen my teeth before in his life he felt he knew them better than myself. I'd just cleaned and inspected my teeth prior to visit. I was disappointed with the damage to my teeth and requested a refund. I was sent a very angry, arrogant and belittling email in response. While I understand accidents happen, health professionals need to take responsibility for their actions. Mark obviously wasn't paying attention the afternoon this happened and I'm very disappointed with the way I was treated.

The best dental experience I could ever ask for.I went in nervous, anxious and with I foot out the door! But Mark was incredibly gentle, calm, reassuring (and fast!). My root canal was actually pleasant?!It may sound silly but there wasn't even that cringeworthy drill sound. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful experience!

Dr Mark is very nice and professional. He only took half an hour to take all my 4 wisdom teeth out. That was way quicker than I expected. I did not feel any pain during the surgery. The nurse is very kind and made me feel relax by talking to me throughout the surgery. I would highly recommend Dr Mark to anyone who needs his/her wisdom teeth removed.

Both Beth & Mark are excellent, i drive a long way to go to Silas St Dental. The ladies on the front desk are so nice it is a breath of fresh air walking into the clinic. This would be the best Dental clinic anywhere...and yes they really do cater for cowards!

This is the first dentist that I voluntarily return to. He is so gentle and for a nervous patient like me that is so important.

The team at Silas Street Dental is genuinely friendly on top of being highly competent. Dr Mark Davies is very soft and I'm always getting in and out of the practice with a big smile :)

Can't fault this place, I often leave it too long between visits but am never made to feel guilty for leaving it a while. I love that it's the dentist who does the scale and clean, makes for a quick and pain free experience, in a clean, modern clinic.

I am furious!! I asked THREE times before our appointments if we would have any extra changes beyond what our insurance covered and was lead to believe there would be none. When we got to the office I asked again saying we only wanted what HBF covered and was told that was what would be done. Come time to leave and we have a $120 charge!! I am so mad I feel deceived and lied to. I would not recommend this practice.

All my life I have dreaded the dentist & for the first time ever I actually enjoyed my experience & even booked a returning 6 month appointment. All thanks to the gorgeous dentist Beth & her assistant Yolanda who made me feel welcomed, relaxed (even with multiple fillings) & well looked after. Many many thanks.
