YUMMMM. Craving indian and going to our nearest restaurant ended up pretty well for a saturday night.Best comes first... and the vegetarian entrees were glorious. I said I didn't want to drink but ended up stealing my partner's beer and it was great (like everything free in life)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Probably the best Indian restaurant for your indian taste buds in Sydney.We are from brisbane and i can assure you those restaurants cannot even be compared to the food they provide here in Thar.We had mirch pyaaz kulcha, veg jalfrazi, and vegetable biryani, trust me all of them were unimaginably tasty.Experience in the restaurant was fantastic from start to end. Food was hot and service was very quick.I Highly recommend Thar indian restaurant.Kudos to the team.

Had an excellent meal here last night. The best Indian I've been to in Australia so far. It was as close to a UK standard as we've found. All food was delicious and the staff were friendly - we will definitely return.

Fast, efficient, friendly service including free delivery over $30 (we ordered over $200). Undoubtedly the very best Indian food in the lower north shore! Very authentic. Far better food quality & value for money than Nilgiri’s! Highly recommend!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at an incredible Indian restaurant. The food was outstanding, with a wide variety of flavors that left me craving for more. The staff at this restaurant went above and beyond to make my experience truly special. They even surprised me with a delightful dish named ‘Janice,’ which was bursting with unique flavors and expertly prepared for me. I highly recommend trying ‘Janice’ and exploring the rest of their menu. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking an exceptional Indian dining experience.

Our recent visit to Thar was more than what I would have asked for!! Elegant ambience, courteous customer service and heavenly delicious food!! No doubt they are so full on the weekend and despite that they make sure each customer is taken care for! Would highly recommend their butter chicken and mutton biryani. Thank you for making our Indian-food experience in Sydney worth it! :)

Overall experience =Really nice.Food yummy ( but portions rather small) my vegetable corma felt a bit spicy but perhaps it depends on the region the chef comes from...butter chicken delicious. Relaxed ambience with a soft music in the background, and a complementary desert was a lovely touch. Thank you, will be back to try more of your dishes
