Great food and atmosphere! Amazing cocktails made by the guy behind the bar in the nice patterned black shirt. Always smiling and making sure all the customers are happy with their visits. Will be coming back again and again. Keep up the good work guys!

Thank you to all staff at Pointers Place. They always greet me with a lovely warmth and courtesy and know my coffee order every time. So grateful to have somewhere to go and relax within walking distance of home!

Convenient from where we lived as it was walking distance and we wanted to support our locals.THE PLACEService was good. The lady that served us was friendly and attentive. nice menu selection for a local cafe/bar.THE FOODThis was our first visit and we ordered Arancini Balls, Lamb shank slow cooked in Guinness and Spicy Buffalo WingsArancini Balls - it was nice, it was golden and crunchy. It was a decent size, but seems to be lacking more oomph.Lamb shank was delicious. The meat falls off the bones, nice and soft. I totally recommend this!I was disappointed with the Spicy Buffalo Wings. The Buffalo Wings I'm used to usually come drenched with hot sauce and served with cheese sauce (normally blue cheese). When I ordered mine with blue cheese sauce, the wings came as just deep fried wings and no hot sauce. We had to send it back so that they can toss it in hot sauce.Also, one of the wine glasses had a massive crack on it. We only noticed when we've poured the wine from the bottle.

The new owners seem to have downgraded the menu and changed the atmosphere from a cozy café to a basic pub. As a local, this used to be a favorite spot to catch up with friends over the weekend. However, they no longer offer beloved dishes such as pancakes, baked eggs, and the lamb and protein bowls, which were once really good. I hope the new owners are able to find their desired audience.*** Response to the unprofessional reply below: Dear owner, my feedback was honest and objective, and not emotionally charged in any way. Your response speaks volumes about your business and does nothing to improve your image. I hope you find success with your new venture, despite your apparent tantrum. The staff could be friendlier, I have never seen a place before who do coffee stamps per visit, as opposed to each coffee you buy.. coffee was nice though.

Wow what a beautiful restaurant. The food was top notch, especially the sticky wings & sweet potato fries. The music playing in the background just topped off a great afternoon. We will definitely be back again.

It's not a cafe it more like a restaurant or pub, the hours are good but what's this about the 4 course meals on valentines day. Love the talented barista. He has always a smile and makes my family feel like we belong there.

Nice meal, been 3 times for dinner had the steak twice (lovely) & fish n chips (not nice, over cooked for small portions, chips hard)Should have a winter menu like soups roast dinners , casseroles, mash, dinner rolls (a variety)Nice atmosphere on a Saturday (live music is great )beers on tap is great.Staff are awesome, service is awesome too.Wish there was more seating outside though.

Amazing food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Love the craft beer on tap. Kid friendly too which makes dining a pleasure. Never disappointed with On Point - 5 stars :)
