Nice cosy room, air con works great and i had a good view of the town. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Good vibes. Thirsty merc playing downstairs, party goes on after but i slept well anyway. Perhaps not recommended for sensitive sleepers though. Would be glad to stay here again.

I held my 21st Birthday in the crown lounge on Level one, Kate who is the functions manager of not only beer deluxe had put in so much effort in helping me organise the perfect night. A huge thank you to the kitchen and the bar staff on the night they were all so amazing. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a function room for their special event to have a look at the crown lounge.

Wow does your kitchen not know how to cut anything it's a caesar salad! And everything is whole, the chicken is a brick, is it that hard to chop through that once or even twice. Its kinda pathetic that they couldn't even do a caeser salad right.

Nice decor featuring indoor and a large undercover outdoor area under shady trees. Good dinner deals which vary on each night. The Wednesday night chicken strips are great! The food is served promptly by welcoming and friendly staff.Thursday night they host Trivia as well.

Picked up an upstairs room for $77 - i was happy. Old & small but clean, quite, free towels and shampoo. It had a AC/heater plus a TV, tea and coffee etc. I was happy! However the hot water ran out fast - not good for a couple nor a lady with long hair needing the rinse etc.Food was good but a tad pricey as was the beverages - it's not the Melbourne CBD so perhaps try to work on turnover not gouging.Trivia Tuesday was quite good fun. Overall pretty good experience. I'm in the HR industry and the staff were very very helpful and friendly (other than the tall dude who looks like Dee Snider from Twisted Sister).

Bar manager and staff were outstanding during our stay. Really accommodated the boys on our trip away. The accom was very basic but met our needs.

I know I only paid $77 for a room, but it was worth alot less. 4th floor elevator out of action, no hot water for a shower grrrr. Looks like no maintenance for decades. Floor drain was blocked in bathroom, bed as hard as a table. No heating.The bar and beer garden where nice

A great bar and restaurant. Atrocious hotel. Food was nice and a great range of beers. Had a DJ on until midnight which wasn't ideal but we knew this and took advantage of the $5 drinks.The hotel was just appalling though! Hadn't been cleaned in a decade. The door to our room had a dent from a punch, as did the walls of the room. Looks like no maintenance for decades. Room full of cobwebs and dust, tv was broken, bathroom very basic but everything worked. Bed not comfortable at all, sinking in the middle. We knew from the price this place was going to be average as it was cheap, but we still thought it would be clean. It just wasn't, my partner wanted to leave but it was late and in the end just a bed for the night.We woke up in the morning and there was a nice view from the balcony. But I just can't recommend staying there, no matter what the price is!
