Granville Police Station

Must be the laziest police in the state that work here. Poor customer service. Avoid at all cost. No one at counter despite buzzer being pressed. An upset family in tears not known to me had been waiting a long time, they then left due to no response / assistance. Feel sorry for the victims of crime. Same thing happened on a previous occasion I was here, that being people were leaving after waiting a ridiculous amount of time and no assistance offered. If you wish to report a matter go to another police station and hope for the best.

My wallet was being stolen 5 years ago in a shop in Granville which i work for that time. I sent the video footage include the face and vehicle number plate of the guy who did it to the cops on the next day. Until now nobody contact me or gave any respond.i m so disappoint.

Came here to drop off a lost wallet. Got the attention of an officer who appeared to be returning from his lunch break, only for him to swear under his breath at us (must not be too sharp to think we can't hear him) and talk to us with sarcasm. I'm just simply returning a lost wallet, not that hard to just take it amicably?

Unfortunately we have some very racist officers come out of Granville police station, not all though just about 70%. Also if you’re from certain backgrounds you’re automatically a suspect before you know it they’ll call in 10 extra officers to pick on you. Very very disappointing to have them as a local police station.

I understand that police are busy, paperwork takes ages, and in this tough line of work you need to de-sensitise yourself for your mental health.It doesn't excuse the rude behaviour and laziness of the officer (Clanfield) in charge at the front reception area.He constantly tried to brush us off to other police stations or law courts when I tried to submit an incident report, which is supposed to be made at a police station. ANY police station.He made us - the victims - feel scared and uncertain, unsafe, unprotected... in addition to the fear we already felt from trying to report our abuser.I understand now why people do not report crimes if the person they first talk to at a station, treats them like this for trying to do the right thing.It wasn't until I pushed to talk to a sergeant (Assad and Skelton) that I received some care and compassion, as well as being able to make an incident report. I truly appreciated Assad's effort to call us back, assure us, and apologise for Clanfield's treatment (despite it not being her fault). Thank you to Skelton for trying to make conversation with us to calm us down, and continuously contacting us about our event number.Unfortunately, I believe Clanfield's damage was dealt and the victim was unable to continue due to her fear. I hope that in the future, someone better will be stationed at the front, and for any victims reading this, keep a record of everything and everyone you talk to. It's important for evidence.

Called for a noise problem at 4am(my neighbors were making loud noise from 10pm). They said they are sending a police unit to us SOON. Waited till 5am but they've never turned up.It was the 4th time like this because my misses has 3 experiences like this where they say they would come and check but never show up...

I may be several years too late, however around 2009 to 2013 I have lived with my dad, who had a close relationship with Granville Police station. So much that my dad would voluntarily inform the police on any criminal activity my dad would witness, and report it to the Granville Police.Due to my dad's lack of English, I would call and inform the Police on behalf of my dad.Today, I am 25, with my father no longer here. I have great memories of great constables who were always on the job. It was a pleasure assisting Granville Police.

I complain few month before.Some parrents park the car in no parking zonThat's way traffic que to the jemesruse drive.And for one reason hips off people brack traffic rules and walk around .it is to danger for kids ..I take vedio and picture,that time two witness I hade I give car details.to the granville police station and formal complainAfter few mont one police men came to my home and she say your statement mmiss place so possible give again.i told I dont have any evidence now because I give you on that time .Think if police is not aware then how to fill comfort.and how to like give them crime report .or and any information related crime.it is parramatta police station .is 100% excellent.I had good information from that .Thank youI

very disappointing job from this police station!I had a car accident in early January this year. the other car hit my car from behind. The other car hit and ran, I have provided dashcam footages to the police for the details. I just need to know the driver of the other car for insurance purpose. The police station keeps telling me they are too busy and my case is low priority.Until today I called them again, I was informed that the case has been closed! No one notify me the progress if any!What they did was calling the owner of the other car, and the owner of the other car denied anyone drove the car at that time! That is it!? what a lousy job they have done! As a tax payer, I demand a much better job from them!
