Cleveland Magistrates Court

Sent documentation to an address I lived at 15 years ago. The details on the documentation was incorrect when I finally went to the courthouse to get it reprinted, I guess this is the best we can expect by this over paid system. If a court is unable to get this right how many other things are wrong?

Appalling customer service – JP at Cleveland courthouseThe JP at Cleveland courthouse was absolutely appalling. He obviously had a bad day and chose to take it out on his customers.My wife and I are both professional people. We had meticulously prepared the documentation we needed to be witnessed.The JP chose to pedantically argue the point on every aspect of our documents while talking down to us like we were 5 year olds.When we didn’t have sufficient copies to satisfy him he could easily have got out of his chair and photocopied a page but, instead, pointed us to another counter. To do this would have exceeded his 1pm finish time which I am certain he would have zealously followed just to annoy us further.We left in frustration and found a much more pleasant and helpful JP elsewhere.I understand this is a volunteer service. If he doesn’t want to be there I suggest he should not volunteer.

Nice atomosphere

Used the JP at the Magistrate Court House several times. They are very friendly and fast. The place is discreetly located so an added bonus.
