Over 20 years Seymour Solar have professionally and with great courtesy installed, upgraded, and maintained our solar system.Like them, it is reliable, no trouble and constant.Solar is complex and sometimes hard to get your head around.If you see a negative review for Seymour ignore it. They are thoroughly professional with great expertise for a finished and working product.

Seymour Solar has gone -above and beyond- in every aspect of instillation and service.I have place a call to Seymour Solar when I had an issue. Russell patiently talked me through what to do step-by-step even though it was Christmas Day.Whenever I need the service for renewable energy instillation or service, I will only be calling this company.

Russell has now installed two systems for me, one in 2011 and the latest in 2020. At that time he upgraded the inverter, added panels in a new location, combined them with existing panels and replaced lead acid with lithium ion batteries.. He was great to deal with, particularity in comparison with other apparently knowledgeable installers who were not able to do much more than put up a few solar panels. Russell is very competent, and is methodical in working out what will work, and in presenting options. He sometimes errs on the side of doing the cheapest solution, rather than telling you what the options are, but on the whole that is reassuring. He has been a good guide on navigating different product options and ensuring compatibility of all the pieces and cables necessary to make a solar system work well.. He is certainly expert on Selectronic systems, which I find excellent. I can't speak for how familiar he is with other systems, but he would tend not to involve himself in equipment he does not have good knowledge of. In installation he is very careful and tidy. We never had any worries and he is highly professional so that he put himself out to ensure the job got done when he was not too well himself.There were times when I would have preferred him to have installed things a little faster but this was more than compensated for by his commitment to getting the job done once it had been scheduled.I recommend him highly.

Our building company is based in the Southern Highlands of NSW and we have known and used Russell for the past 10yrs or so. Russell from Seymour Solar installed an extensive solar system that allows our entire property to have power off grid. He did a wonderful job and I am very impressed with the system.He used the best quality solar equipment and when possible, equipment that is made in Australia.He was recommended to me by a number of local tradies who all spoke highly of him and his work.He is prompt, reliable and extremely honest.
