Berkowitz Furniture

Purchased a couch that was delivered to me damaged. Surely things should be inspected before they go to customers. I told the delivery guy and the warehouse. I was told someone will be in touch with me. Didnt hear from anyone and when I called the store they had no record of this. Getting the couch repaired was another long dragged out process because no one in the warehouse and store would do anything more than the bare minimum. When finally the couch was ready for delivery back I requested an afternoon delivery which was agreed at the time and on delivery day came in the morning when I wasnt at home. When I spoke to the head office the woman was very argumentative and kept talking over me and telling me that they never deliver to my area in the afternoon and wont come back that day and pretty much making it sound like I'm making it up so she can cover her butt. Then was told another story by her manager to get me off their backs about having it delivered on that day. Overall I would say the service is poor and so is management. The communication between the store and warehouse is terrible and no one knows what the other one is doing. Doesn't seem like much work gets done once they hang up the phone with you.

The service I received from Richard was excellent but what I really want to mention is the two lovely young men who delivered my chairs. Usually I dread having furniture delivered because I have experienced unpleasant, difficult delivery people. Had a excellent experience at Berkowitz Moorabbin with Graham. After a long search for a couch we found exactly what we needed for our apartment, and had the couch modified to fit the size that we needed at a price point we were happy with (especially considering it is custom made and Australian made)! We were also very pleased that we could choose the colour of the couch, which is not an option at every store. After having the couch delivered on time, the whole experience was seamless. Couldn't give a stronger recommendation!

We recently ordered a couch from Berkowitz furniture. To start off with, we received great service while deciding what we were wanting. Picking the colours and designs was easy without stress as we got amazing advice from the workers in the store. The couch came right on time as expected. The quality is excellent and the couch matches our house perfectly. We couldn’t have gotten anything better. Thanks so much for your outstanding work. We definitely will be coming back.

Good quality furniture on display compared to other furniture stores I have visited. Ended up purchasing a IMG Namsos sofa. The sales team had been very busy on Sunday 20th June when we where there. Service was pretty good considering that. We found the products they offer my h better than other shops, worth a visit before ordering elsewhere.

My partner and I went into Berkowitz Moorabbin, having no prior knowledge of their services. It was the first place we visited, and we were totally blown away by their incredibly warm and helpful customer service. We want to mention Ruby in particular, who we've spoken to on several occasions, who went above and beyond to help us select a practical and beautiful fabric/colour scheme for our couch and living space.After visiting a large array of other furniture stores, we agreed that the quality of their product (made in Australia) and service were unparalleled.When we ordered the couch, we were told it would be ready by mid February. We got a phone call a week earlier saying that they could deliver it to us the next day if we wished.Thank you to everyone for their efforts, we're extremely happy with our couch! :)

We took my elderly indecisive Mum shopping for couches and dining chairs and we were served by the loveliest helpful woman! Her name was Carol. She was so patient and helpful and definitely not pushy. We spent 3 hours going through so many options.I would recommend her to anyone.

We were really impressed with the service and grateful for the advice received from Carol in the Moorabbin store. Quality couches are available which are also affordable and Made in Australia! Highly recommend this store to buy couches!
