They say nature is soothing for the soul and healing for the body, and this place is no exception.Best times to visit are during the week or very early mornings/late afternoons when the limited car park is less busy. It's a great place for a nice forest walk, a refreshing dip in the water and soaking up the negative ions from the waterfalls (very good for your health and happiness). It's really nice a few days after a decent rain once the waters have cleared again and the creek is flowing nicely.Highly recommended!

Beautiful walk along a very easy to walk sealed track (and wheelchair accessible). The track is only 800m to the abandoned lumber mill, it follows the creek and you can access the creek at some points along the way. There are toilet facilities at the car parkThe parking is limited and on a nice day it can be very hard to get a car park. The road in is narrow and you do want to take your time.

Well worth the visit though I do recommend heading in early. There is limited car parking so people park on the sides if the road making the entry only one vehicle wide with limited chance to pass another vehicle. An easy walk on a sealed path the whole way. There are several viewing areas where you can see the river, the falls and the swimming holes. If you plan to swim wear good footwear as there is no path to the water and access is quite steep. There is also and old lumber camp which has been preserved and the are several educational signs posted to share the history of the area. There is a toilet block but no bins or shops.

Truly beautiful!Perfect day spot for swimming when the river is flowing.Easy drive. Follow gps. Narrow road. Keep going until you cross the small bridge just below the entrance car park (many cars parked either side here also). Bridge had water over it at this time. Others parked 1km further down road. Nice way to add extra time to your walk.Fine toilet facilities. Information sign at walk entrance. Picnic tables available. Clean peaceful surrounds.Very quick easy 15min walk along path to old saw mill. Can travel very light. Main attraction is picking somewhere to swim. Beautiful rock pools along stream or directly under the small waterfalls. Surrounds slightly muddy when wet. No leeches at this time (Jan 2022).People were jumping off cliff - kids didn’t seem to touch the bottom, but plenty of adults felt it was too shallow to jump.Plenty of space to not feel crowded. Though less of a secret destination on school holidays.Overall a really wonderful day out in nature and great spot to visit.

The drive up here is absolutely stunning! Visiting during the holidays made it quite busy and the carpark was very full. The walk is an easy 15mins on a wide path, which is great for all ages. The rainforest is beautiful, and the Cascades are so inviting, despite being cold. There are multiple access points along the way to get to the water, just be prepared for smaller, inclined tracks. Enjoy rock hopping, relaxing by the water, or jumping into the big water hole.

Beautiful spot. Not far from Gold Coast CBD and is easy to drive to. Some average parking available by the falls but lovely spot if you're over the beaches and salt water! BBQ facilities and toilets as well. The walking track to the cascades, rock pools and Falls are easy and paved.

Really nice place to go, awesome rock pools and waterfalls. Tracks are a little harder for older people. Downside is there is limited parking so it’s best to go earlier in the day.

Short rainforest walk, beautiful small waterfalls, lots of places to swim, great for families, toilets at entrance, not much parking.
