The team at Ava tailoring studios amazed me! They went above and beyond! I needed a custom tailoring job, i needed a projector screen 5m x 2m for which i got projector screen material. Id go as far as to say this was hardly a tailoring job, nevertheless, we draw diagrams with dimensions and they did it. Check the pictures this will blow your mind!Now if this little team of ladies can sew a 5m x 2m projector screen they can for sure help you with your tailoring needs, thank you Ava Tailoring Studio!!

My mum took her 2 skirts in to have taken up from the top not the bottom, even showed the lady what she wanted done and now my mum has 2 skirts that are too short for her. I do not recommend this shop to anyone. $50 for 2 skirts wasted.

It pains me to give this place one star, when it should be negative 5. Spent $350 to get a simple dress made albeit with expensive material. I got a dress that was 2 cm shorter on one side and so badly put together that the person who fixed it was furious on my behalf. I had spent $300 on the material for a very simple pattern and it was stuffed up so badly I had to get it realtered by someone else. She stood there insisting nothing was wrong with the dress. I am absolutely furious at the service, if you can call it that.. Also keeps harping on about paying cash. Cannot express how cheated I feel.

Dropped off one jacket on Wednesday to get the sleeves shorten, was told to come and collect it next Wednesday at 2:30pm they will text me when it is ready, 2:30pm came and went with no message. I ended up messaging them as to find out what's happening, i was told to come at 4:30pm instead. Thanks to traffic, i was late, but only to walk in and see the jacket still being worked on, I ended up having to wait another 40 mins before it was finished, a rush job in the end, overall quality work is alright, but the time it took to have it done is extremely disappointing especially seeing they had a full week.If any else chooses to use this tailoring service, I recommend telling them you need it ASAP, otherwise you'll just be put on the back burner. I personally won't be using them again

I had two dresses hemmed here recently and am thrilled with the results. High quality in just a few days with professional, friendly service and reasonably priced. Highly recommend and will be back myself (necessary for short people!) Thank you!

I wanted to try this business as it has great reviews and looks professional from the outside. This was approximately 1045am on a normal weekday. The door was open and the Open sign was lit but there was no one at the counter, and the 2 people out the back wouldn't serve me. I tried to ask if I should call ahead thinking it may just be appointment only but no one would communicate with me. I don't like to leave bad reviews but it was inconvenient to leave without service or response. This business should add a sign at the entry of opening hours for walk ins, or leave a number to call for appointments. Simply locking the door when the staff are unavailable would also be good.

Highly recommend. The alterations are so well done and they’re very accommodating.I’ve had a pair of jeans taken in and and bridesmaid dress resized and both came out perfectly.
