Auburn High School
A school making a name for itself with a high standard of education and positive culture. A great alternative to other schools in the area without the elitist attitude and horrendous fees. In the end my child is stimulated by the curriculum and loves going to school every day.

This was my high school from 1983 to 1985 (moved to Caulfield). I see the overall structure of the building remains intact, but back then we didn't wear uniform like you do today.. A real sight for sore eyes, God I missed the good old days..

Title: Auburn High School: An Examination of Its ShortcomingsIntroduction:Education plays a crucial role in shaping the minds and futures of our youth. However, not all schools are created equal, and unfortunately, Auburn High School falls short in several areas. This essay aims to shed light on the inadequacies of Auburn High School, highlighting concerns related to academics, infrastructure, and student support, thereby illustrating the negative impact it has on its students.Academics:One of the fundamental purposes of any educational institution is to provide a high-quality academic experience. Regrettably, Auburn High School fails to meet this standard. The curriculum lacks depth and fails to adequately challenge and engage students. Limited course offerings leave students with restricted options for exploring their interests or preparing for future careers. Moreover, the school's underqualified and overburdened teaching staff struggle to deliver effective instruction, resulting in inadequate educational outcomes for students.Infrastructure:The physical condition of Auburn High School is another significant concern. The aging facilities are marred by a lack of maintenance and investment, rendering them unsuitable for a conducive learning environment. Dilapidated classrooms, outdated technology, and insufficient resources undermine students' ability to excel academically. Such subpar infrastructure conveys a message that education is not a priority, and this neglect can have a demoralizing effect on students and staff alike.Student Support:A crucial aspect of any successful educational institution is providing adequate support to its students. Auburn High School, unfortunately, fails to fulfill this obligation. Insufficient guidance counseling services leave students without the necessary guidance and support when making crucial academic and career decisions. Furthermore, the school's disregard for students' emotional well-being is evident in the absence of effective mental health resources and support systems. This lack of assistance hinders students' personal growth and contributes to a toxic and stressful learning environment.Discipline and Safety:Maintaining a safe and disciplined learning environment is paramount to fostering academic success. Regrettably, Auburn High School falls short in this aspect as well. Incidents of bullying and violence persist without appropriate interventions or consequences. The lack of a proactive disciplinary system leads to a disruptive atmosphere, inhibiting the learning process for all students. This failure to provide a secure environment compromises the physical and emotional well-being of the students, hampering their overall educational experience. Conclusion:In conclusion, Auburn High School's shortcomings in academics, infrastructure, student support, and discipline contribute to a substandard learning experience for its students. The limited academic opportunities, dilapidated facilities, and lack of emotional and educational support erode the potential of students who pass through its doors. It is crucial for educators, administrators, and policymakers to recognize these deficiencies and take swift action to address them. Every student deserves access to a high-quality education that prepares them for a successful future, and unfortunately, Auburn High School currently falls far short of that mark.

This review is not for the school and its academics. This review only reflects my opinion about the facility. The school infrastructure looks well maintained and sufficient for student needs. Classrooms are quite sizable and there are plenty of study spaces.Library and cafe look good. The food prices at the cafe are quite reasonable. There is sufficient parking.
