Priceline Pharmacy Reservoir
This pharmacy has to be THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. My sister and I went in to get some legal documents witnessed and signed and there was one female assistant that treated my sister like a criminal, refused to do it and was so unashamedly rude, I’m surprised she is even is employed. Her attitude was disgusting. Will never go there again.

This pharmacy has recently changed hands and my gosh, the new pharmacist is very rude and aggressive. I was a regular before it became priceline, and I certainly won’t be going back. He needs to do some continuing professional development on customer service. I anticipate the new owners may last 18 months before it changes hands again due to dwindling custom.

Had nothing but trouble getting scripts dispensed. Had to have my doctor's fax through scripts twice and even then it was a hassle. One lady in the pharmacy dispensary even had the audacity to raise her voice at me and insinuate that it's my fault she can't dispense the script even though it was faxed directly through and pretty obvious I needed what was sent through. Also asked me why my doctor was across town and insinuated I was doctor shopping. The young lady needs some serious customer service training and a lesson in minding her own business and doing her job. Avoid if possible.

I have been going to the pharmacy since moving to Reservoir a few months ago. I have also received good customer service from friendly people.UNTIL - I went there on Sunday 16 April. There were four staff members and one customer - me. The three staff members in the prescription area were horrible. The only reason I have given three stars is because of my experience until Sunday which I would otherwise rate at no stars. Sack them - surely there are better mannered people that could do the job.26 May - UpdateWhy if it says on the door that they close at 7pm are they closed at 6pm.Bad service and I have down graded to one star.

We’ve been going to this pharmacy for years when it was Direct Chemist Outlet, for standard prescription dispenses without questions & it was okay. However our recent experience made us never want to go there again. My elderly parents don’t speak English & I’ve been helping them dispense meds from different pharmacies to suit my work & life. This is my parents’ first full year of having concession cards. When they approached the PBS safety net threshold, I realised I had to visit all the pharmacies to get records of meds dispensed this year. I came to Priceline Reservoir on 12/6/23 & explained to the Scripts In lady to please give records for both my mum & my dad, as per the PBS Safety Net Application Form filled in. The pharmacist lady only gave 8 stickers for my mum & none for my dad. I trusted her, thinking maybe nothing for my dad here this year. Later that day I found meds in his drawer from this pharmacy, so I went back again on 17/6/23. The same pharmacist decided to issue Prescription Record Form (PRF) this time for both people. It turned out she missed 2 stickers for my mum last time, so my mum actually had 10 items on the PRF, my dad had 8, more than that from any other pharmacy. I asked questions on how it works, the pharmacist explained the idea clearly, but gave inaccurate info: she said the concession safety net threshold is $262.80 or 36 items ($7.30 each); in fact each item can be $6.30 like ours, so we needed 42 items. My parents had 35 items in total at that point. I then went to the last pharmacy on my list in Epping. They issued records of sufficient items to reach the correct threshold, but because the Priceline Reservoir pharmacist missed 2 stickers previously, there’s a mismatch between stickers & PRF, they had to check all items, but had insufficient time before closing for the day. They told me to go to any pharmacy the next day. I came to Priceline Reservoir again on 18/6/23, to lodge safety net card application. The pharmacist told me that he can’t just issue safety net card without dispensing an item. I then quickly searched through prescriptions I brought in with me, and found one for my dad that was ready to be dispensed. I turned around to ask him whether I needed to pay for it. He refused to listen to my question & asked me to queue again at the Scripts In counter. I queued up again, explained the situation again to the Scripts In lady & asked whether I needed to pay for it. She said yes, I would be charged for the item. I then called another pharmacy, and their answer was different: I could get a safety net card without dispensing an item, and if I choose to dispense, it would be at safety net price, which is for free. I went to that pharmacy, they were also very busy, but they took 15 minutes to check all 42 items & issued safety net card. I will not visit Priceline Reservoir again because (1) Staff pays poor attention to details. (2) Scripts In counter staff may have misinterpreted my questions/requests. (3) The policy of having to dispense an item, and pay for it, for existing customer lodging application after reaching safety net limit, needs to be reviewed. (4) Maybe the staff to customer ratio can be improved to avoid understaffing. (5) The lady pharmacist who helped me on 12/6 & 17/6, despite the errors, still treated me with professional attitude. The gentleman pharmacist on 18/6 however, treated me very impatiently, even if I offered to wait for as long as he needed. (6) Maybe pharmacists’ remuneration & performance rating are too closely tied to dispense numbers, so they have an incentive to be impatient & just crunch through dispenses. I can’t trust someone with my health related matters if they can’t get these things right, is impatient, profit-driven, and doesn’t care. Attention to details, correct knowledge & patience are important qualities of good pharmacy staff & can’t be improved overnight. This is our first year of doing this; we have learnt the process & know what to do next year: that is to stick to one pharmacy, which is not going to be Priceline Reservoir.
