Blondes and Brunettes

So touch and go. I've been to this salon so many times as I'm a student as it's the cheapest place. My hair is short, all one length and all one colour so I'm happy to go to an average place. However, after the last experience I had here I'll never go back. The hairdresser was weird and overshared every aspect of her life with me to the point i was uncomfortable. She did the worst haircut I have ever had in my life, my hair is three different lengths. It's saying something when it's a more pleasant experience being served by the young apprentices rather than the person in charge with my cut and colour. Even though the hair package prices are all plastered over the front they always charge me $20 more with no explanation and are pushy with the prices and add on hair treatments. This haircut is the last straw and I won't go back even when they offered to fix it for free on the phone. No thanks.

Stopped by at 1pm to check that I could come in for a shampoo and blow dry at 2pm. Yes, they said, all good! Did not make a note of my name or number.Came back at 2pm was taken to basin and after shampoo was left there for 30mins with conditioner on! No check as to my timing requirements or explanation of delay.Finally was rinsed and taken to station for blow dry. Another interruption for a long client consultation and I got out at 3.15 with a bill for $80! Seriously?Never again!

I have unfortunately had to drop my rating as I returned from an extended trip to be told Odette is no longer working here. She is one of the few hairdressers who has ever managed to get my extremely sensitive scalp and difficult" hair to white blonde. The other staff have been rude in the past and they are always understaffed so things take a long time. Not worth the price anymore without my favourite stylist."

The worse experience I ever had. I went there yesterday 21/09, manager was on holiday and a lady was at the salon on her own with 4 clientes sitting down and waiting.This same lady asked me to come back 5 hours later, which I did. She left the colour way more than the normal time and I had a horrible reaction, plus completely wrecked my hair colour - from baliage, she painted my hair black!!! It wasn’t cheap and I’m so upset with this.

An absolute rip off. Staff are semi-qualified. If you’re a school kid then fine, but if you want a decent service don’t go here you’re wasting your money.

They have almost doubled the prices and they told me after my colour!! I was getting just my roots coloured every 3 weeks at $55 per colour at this place. Same service today cost $95!!! No cut, no full colour and no blowout!!

I can't say I feel particularly satisfied by this place, and whilst the staff were friendly and nice, and they got along well amongst each other, I definitely won't be going back. I felt that the hairdressers were inexperienced.When I booked the appointment I expressed that I wanted a cut and colour. On the day, no one asked me what colour I wanted, and proceeded to put bleach foils in my hair without consulting me first. Admittedly I find it hard to voice my opinion or ask questions, and as such I only found out it was bleach half way through the foils". I expressed that I have never gotten bleach foils (I have blonde hair and don't feel they're necessary). I was told that they could do whatever colour I wanted after.Then came the time to cut my hair. Despite

my stylist did not ask about my previous hair dyes or treatments i’ve done and immediately put bleach in my hair before even confirming with me that i wanted bleach in my hair. the staff in the store were very unprofessional, some even unkempt, speaking with loud vulgar language and gossiping about other workers and customers.my stylist herself was very nice in comparison to the other workers and did a good job, but it was just not what i asked for with the photo i showed as reference. my hair turned out bright red when i wanted a darker coppery tone. i had to ask to get it darkened twice.Another stylist who was not even doing my hair butted in on my conversation and complained, saying i should have told my stylist that from the beginning even though i had shown her a reference photo.it made me very uncomfortable and was a very bad customer experience. on top of that, i feel as if the service was not worth the $225. the whole salon was unprofessional, some even unskilled regarding expertise and code of conduct.i HIGHLY do not recommend this salon. Save your money and go somewhere else…

I have been going to this salon for about 18 months now. Jess was very good, but will no longer go back as the staff are now mainly trainee’s and they are far too slow.I don’t feel comfortable any more.Maybe a few good hair cutters would help.Prices went up to much for the actual service.
