Never have I ever had such a sweet, gentle, caring and attentive nail technician!! I just had the loveliest, most relaxing and engaging mani pedi of my life! Amy is not only a beautiful human, but an exceptional nail technician - with attention to detail and high standards. I’ll never go anywhere ever again. Can’t wait for next visit, with her light as a feather touch and sweet inquisitive chats. What an angel :)

I’m a big fan of the nail lab. I normally go to the one at chiefly and it’s still my preferred option if I’m going solo or with one person but for big groups Darlinghurst is excellent. I love h the r mail lab as I get such long wear out of my gel pedicures. 6 to 8 weeks is about the timeframe I get before needing a new pedicure.

Amazing Gel manicure and removal. Daria really looked after my nails. They don’t use electric files which a lot of places in Sydney do. Gel manicure lasted at least 2 weeks. I was visiting Sydney and needed to find somewhere new, would definitely come back when I’m next here.

Cannot recommend the Nail Lab enough! I’ve been coming here now for three years, and they have transformed my nails.In 2019 my nails would not grow to the end of my fingertips, peeled constantly and were very thin and soft. Within 2-3 appointments they were visibly healthier, and within 6 months of monthly appts they were regularly mistaken for extensions/acrylics.Amazing (and regularly updated) selection of colours, lovely technicians, super clean and organised, and a perfect mani/pedi every single time.Thea recommends colours that suit my skin tone and preferences, and shapes and lengths that will ensure my nails stay long and strong.If you follow your technician’s care advice, you can expect a gel manicure here to last four weeks without chipping (for me even with chrome).The entire team is so talented and passionate about what they do - I cannot recommend TNL enough.

Having been to a variety of nail salon in Sydney, this is by far the best. Always so clean, relaxing and runs on time! By appointment only. Quality of work is outstanding. All the staff and the manager are lovely and make you feel both comfortable and welcome ensuring they look after the health of your nails. Thea is my go to technician for nail art. She is simply the best!

I got a gel manicure and my old polish removed at the Darlinghurst location. I got there early and they said to go get a coffee and come back because the technician wasn’t there yet, fair enough - but I didn’t really understand why I couldn’t just sit and wait. When I came back I sat down with a coffee and ready to get a manicure. The first thing i get comments on from the technician is my weight (I’m underweight). It’s the kind of comments that you can’t really say anything? The whole service was extremely rushed and comments said from the technician were along the lines of “you’re my first client - i have to be here until 7” “it’s great we’ve gotten done so quick”The whole experience was rushed and uncomfortable.I kept reminding myself in my head how grateful I am just to have a manicure. Probably 1% of the population lucky enough to get a manicure.But if you’re a business and providing a service, this was the worst manicure experiences I have ever had and I will never come back to Nail Lab nor recommend people to go there. The technician even asked me unsuringly if 2 coats were okay. I don’t know? Shouldn’t you do your best and see what needs to be done?Uncomfortable and rushed. Getting your nails done should be fun. And an experience. It shouldn’t be just some “chore”.I do not recommend going here.

Absolutely beautiful manicure, can't fault it. I would suggest cleaning the E file between customers and using brand new nail buffers - there was nail dust from previous customers on the drill and buffer. All other tools used were fresh and sealed, but there's not much point using new tools if you're going to contaminate my nails with other people's nail dust anyway. Really disappointed to see the hygiene standards have slipped since I was there 3 years ago and customers are now crammed in unlike previously. You'd think you could afford fresh nail buffers for every client charging $70 for a manicure. Update: nails lasted 13 days before one completely fell off of its own volition. All the sns I've had in the past lasted a minimum 4 to 6 weeks.
