Cafe Upstairs
I had undergone an endoscopy at the nearby hospital and was very nervous about post-surgery eating. The grounds are mainly surrounded by houses with only a limited number of notable cafes and eateries. In our urgency to find somewhere appropriate to have post-operative food, we stumbled upon this quaint, tucked away restaurant called Cafe Upstairs - true to its name, it can be difficult to find, provided you look above the local pharmacy/gift shop.Our family had a wonderful experience at Cafe Upstairs in Kingswood, Penrith. It is located opposite Nepean Hospital Emergency/near Nepean Private but can easily be missed. However, the allure of the cafe is in its location which is a retreat away from the worrisome energies of hospital life.Luck! We felt so lucky to have found this cafe as the customer service was welcoming, friendly and quite attentive. A friendly smile goes a long way and we were impressed with the positive service these guys provided.The menu is very much catered towards breakfast, lunch and brunch with a wide range of delicacies and fillers. The food was scrumptious, with balanced taste, warmth and well cooked griddle and blanch.The ambiance was very inviting, homely and relaxing. We wanted to thank Cafe Upstairs for the enjoyable music, particularly as Fleetwood Mac came on whilst having our delicious breakfast - epic song choices with an equally impressive menu made this cafe a winner.If you're in the area for some great all-day food, don't forget to drop by Cafe Upstairs, near the chemist, for an excellent experience! Spacious cafe tucked away on the first floor. The bacon and egg roll was nice. Staff were friendly.

Good coffee and yummy food (especially the chicken burger). Best of all is the customer service. Lovely staff with fat smiles. Worth a try

Cafe Upstairs
Cafe upstairs has quickly become one of my new favourites! The staff are warm and welcoming, the menu is interesting and the prices are good. It's nice to bring my 7yr old Son and sit in the book nook where he can eat and read and relax and it's also nice to come without him and chill out on the balcony by myself or with a friend. The atmosphere is peaceful and I'm going to bring all my friends!... one at a time so I get to come back again and again ;)

Cafe Upstairs
Haloumi burger and almond chai was very nice. There is a cosy book corner inside and an outside area. I wish there's an alternate entry to the cafe instead of just going through the building elevators. The elevators are old, slow and rundown. It's also the same two small elevators used by patients so it gets busy. But the cafe service is so lovely so it is worth the trip.

I love going to Cafe Upstairs! The staff are super welcoming and always go the extra mile to ensure that people have a lovely experience. I like to take my friends for dine in as I love the ambiance and the music. If I am asked where a good place is to get coffee and a bite to eat, I recommend Cafe Upstairs.
