This is the third time we have used Protec Gas Services and we have been completely satisfied each time. The servicing of our gas heater has rectified developing problems. We recommend them as reliable and efficient.

Our Vulcan gas wall heater was serviced with faults found. The Technician explained the repairs required in an understandable way with reasons why parts had failed and quoted for the job.We proceeded with the quote, and the job was done professionally, the heater is working well and safely. We will have the next service done by Protec Gas Services. We are happy and warm campers, thank you.

I was very impressed with this service. The booking person was helpful and took full details-she was interested and informative. The booking was confirmed by sms the day before. The technician (Trent) came at the agreed time and was prepared for the specific jobs. He serviced 2 gas heaters and explained in detail what he was doing and why. He repositioned a moving gas stove top. He was polite and seemed very knowledgeable about the devices. He had a positive approach to the tasks/difficulties. He cleaned up very well. I recommend this service.

Bought a house a few years back with a huge Masport space heater that did not look like it had been serviced in years. Ive had Protec out every two years to give it the once over replace parts and give me general advice on maintenance. Always been pleased with their service and helpfulness.

Easy to make a booking. Efficient booking monitoring via text. Excellent pre-service information. Technician was excellent. He explained what would be done, kept the area clean and was careful. Explained repair and ongoing care. Got a very dirty, unloved gas fire working perfectly.

Was very disappointed with this service. Called Protec out to service both my heaters and fix one heater's flame which was low. After 1&1/2 hours of talking and not fixing or servicing my heaters, I received a quote of an astounding $5,100 to best overhaul both my heaters with completely new parts. That's when the red flags started. So his diagnosis that took 1&1/2 hours & which could have taken 10 minutes, ended up costing me $300 and no work was done.I decided to get a second opinion with another technician from another Company, which proved Protec's diagnosis was completely INCORRECT. After a service and gas lines cleaned, my heater was operating PERFECTLY. High flame again and absolutely no parts were needed.I can't believe the Protec technician wanted me to part with thousands of dollars to change all the parts that are absolutely working perfectly and no need of changing any parts.I DO NOT recommend this company after my experience and customers be very wary if you get quoted a large sum to change parts that do not need changing. This experience saw me wasting $300 and an hour and a half listening to proven incorrect diagnosis. Consumers should be entitled to a refund when no work is done and incorrect information given.

Very knowledgeable and professional. Fixed several issues caused by other gas fitters. Will definitely be using Protec again. Highly recommend.

Trent was fabulous. Genuine, helpful and efficient service. The kind that is real and sadly lacking today. Good explanations and justification for everything. I felt our gas heater got the best of attention. Highly recommended business.
