Bruce's Charcoal Chicken & Chinese Takeaway

Portuguese chicken is awesome, has been for 20 or so years I've been going here. Only downfall is it's quite expensive, great for a treat though.

A local friendly food business, always fresh and always good. Bruce's has been a Darwin icon for many years with most of the locals having been there to eat or know of it. Now located in Nightcliff and run now by Bruce's family keeping the same quality and friendly service.

Cheapest and most delicious Chinese food in the Darwin area. Really nice people! Such a short distance from my home, so it's always my go to place when I want a little Chinese take out.

Chicken was quite dry and extremely expensive. Fried rice wasn't too bad

Everything is fresh, tasty and value for money. The owner is such a nice person!

We heard about this place and went a first time just to ask about the charcoal chicken which they say they are very famous for. Then we went a second time, to buy charcoal chicken and pork ribs. We spent 3$ for each - small- piece of chicken, with very few meat on each leg and wing, and very few taste of charcoal. We also bought a small portion ($14) of pork ribs, which was mainly made of bones only: $14 to buy marinated bones.BONES. No thanks. If you are hungry do not come to this place, unless you are ready to spend a ridiculous sum of money just to try to fill your belly, which you could easily do by going somewhere else where food is tastier, more and cheaper.

Enjoyed the live band during the Seabreeze Festival
