I drive a interstate truck and had a time slotted delivery. Was told to park up and wait for a phone call. After calling up 3 hours later l finally got in to unload. Little reguard is held for interstate drivers who operate under a logbook and l had another pickup to attend to which l was subsequently very late for.Seems the receiving staff prioritize local deliveries so they stuff the interstate drivers around instead.This causes huge problems with fatigue.Companys need to be held accountable for actions like this.
