Very disappointed, tried this place when it first changed hands and was not impressed, thought what the hell we will give it another go.Can't say it was all bad burger, calamari, were pretty good, but if I had pulled a piece of fish out of the fryer that looked like that there is no way I would box it up and give it to a customer, I would cook it again, as a customer I would rather wait a bit longer and get good food, but in saying that they did replace it with a very nice piece of fish.

Shame the best part of the fish & chips were the chips. Ordered some fish and chips from here recently, it was very busy as it was the only fish and chip shop in the area opened until late (8pm), so the wait was about 30-45mins . The hoki was very dry, overcooked and greesy and tasted like it had been frozen not fresh as you might expect from a fish & chip shop , the crumbed calamari was rather tastless and the Pluto pup was also very average. the seafood in the cabinent also didn't look the best. I am not sure if this shop recently changed management/ ownership as it used to be called morayfield seafood market but either way I wouldn't rush back in a hurry...

I was caught up in the order mix up with Brad T… instead of making a ludicrous review, I took my order back and the guys were very understanding & apologetic.They remade my order correctly in a timely manner, also offering something for free for the trouble. The food was Hot & delicious. Happy Easter guys Thankyou!

I’m really sorry to leave a bad review but I think it’s important to be honest. My family and I used to go here regularly and thoroughly enjoyed the quality and price of the food. The last few times we had been we were not impressed with the amount we paid for what we received and I couldn’t justify the price for the quality so we stopped coming here for a while. Thought we would have another go tonight and was probably more unimpressed. The quality is worse than the last time and the serving sizes are also significantly smaller. I was actually offended by the size of the fish bites we purchased, some were thinner than a piece of bread and I feel quite ripped off. I understand times are tough, we are all struggling but charging more and serving less isn’t really fair. I would call or return to the store to speak to you directly as would be the traditional way to provide feed back, but you insisted on a Google review, and I get the impression from reading your reply’s to others that have given your store negative feedback that it wouldn’t make much difference, your response would be rather insincere and just cause further insult. I’m sorry but that’s my honest Google review, I hope it helps.

Try the Large Calamari and you'll get hook'd like me. it is tender, moist and tasty. I only order this (with no chips) whenever I am in the area. Hats off to Sarah who goes out of her way to listen and respond to customer feedback. Great local business. J

Jane was very friendly and helpful with my order. She offered to take care of my fresh prawns disposal after I ate them instore. The prawns were fresh and delicious. Didn't have to wait long on my calamari pack either. Would highly recommend.

Jane is very friendly and she rocked her custom crochet easter beanie but most of all her customer service is phenomenal, she looked after us to make sure we got the best value for our money.The food is great too- we had the battered Hoki and chips with seafood salad and kids enjoyed a nugget meal. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

My first experience with Lunch a few weeks ago was awesome, fish burger, seafood pack and milkshake were all so delicious, so was excited to get fish & chips, potato scallops and seafood pack for my family only to be extremely disappointed.It was a busy night, so waited 50min for our order. However food wasn’t getting out very quickly and my husband and I noticed every person that received their order had something missing from their order. So when my number got called, I checked my seafood pack only to notice that there were no fish bites and the pack was half the size of the one I bought for lunch previously, there was hardly any chips & calamari rings. Not sure if they were running low on these?I pointed out that my fish bites were missing but had to wait 5-10min just to get those which I refused as our dinner would have been cold by then. So asked if I could have a sauce from the fridge instead. Also the Potato scallops were pathetic little crisps. Potato chips from a packet were bigger than those. What we ordered should have fulled us all up, yet we were all still hungry.My advice, even if you’re busy, accuracy is the key. People will return for good food, consistent quantities and correct orders.
