Just popped in to say hello to Lance as for years this man did all our auto electrical work on our vehicles. Top guy, very knowledgeable in his work, very reasonable prices and very friendly.

Scam! Con Artists! Beware.I broke down in front of the shop on a Friday morning school run ( I’m a single parent), my engine light had turned on and I didn’t know what to do. I walked across the road to ask if they could take a look at my car. They said they would look at it and give me a call.I got a lift back to their shop late afternoon, they said it’s the cam angle sensor and they didn’t know which one was broken as there were 2. They charged me for a test they did to find the problem and asked me to drive it home for the weekend.They said to drive my car until the engine light turns back on again and bring it backMonday. I asked if this was normal and they said yes and that the light would definitely come back on and that this was okay as they needed the engine light on to determine which sensor to replace.They said it would break down, to just start it back up again and continue to drive it and bring it back in on Monday. I did this, broke down multiple times on the way back home that afternoon. I drove the car back on Monday with the same issue. They kept my car overnight and for several days and charged me over $600 to replace the cam angle sensor.After paying and collecting my car, on the SAME day, I broke down again. My engine light turned back on.I took my car to Kmart mechanics in the city. The mechanics had a look at it. They said it was the cam angle sensor and it had not been fixed. They said the part costs $130 and takes a maximum of 20minutes to install !There is no way that the car should have to stay overnight for this simple job and that they have charged me way too much money. Kmart mechanics did not charge me anything and told me to take my car back to Dougalls at gordonvale. If he did really put a “new part” in from Nissan (as I was charged for on my invoice), it would be under warranty.So I took it back to dougalls autoelectics. I had my brother who is also a lawyer call ahead of time and explain that we would like them to have a look at what they had done. He told them that we would not be paying any more money as we had already paid them for the test they did on the car to find the problem.When I took my car back in around 8am, the guy said , I will need to keep your car now for a few days to fix the sensor. I told him no, I need my car back by 5.00pm today as I don’t have another car! ( I also now knew It was a 20 minute job) He said he would see what he could do. I called all day checking up, finally at 4.00pm he said he was just getting to my car to have a look at it and he would have it ready by 5.00pm.When I collected my car from this place late afternoon, he said “oh I thought it was the sensor on the right but it was the one on the other side, oh well, it’s fixed now and also the little light came on in your car, so you will need to put fuel in it as I took it for a little drive! He emptied out all my fuel both times and spoke to me like I was stupid.Please do not trust them I have a feeling they may be using second hand parts and charging for new parts and for the freight for them to collect these new parts.They are also pretending that the jobs require so much time and work than what they actually do and will charge you for it. Please don’t make the same mistake as I did find someone else and save your money.

Got my speaker problem fixed by the guys here quick service and professional manner ,would definitely be using them again for my sound system upgrades.
