My mum has Alzheimers and I needed to get her into respite, I was not disappointed with GHA Vaucluse. From the moment mum entered to the moment she left she was treated as part of the family. She went on bus trips nearly everyday, assisted with cooking, joined in all the activities but her favourite was the music afternoons where she showed off her dancing and piano skills. Daily photos to the family were evidence mum was very well cared for. Mum has returned home happy and healthy, I can't wait for mum to return and meet up with her new friends again. Thank you GHA from all the heart!

I was despondent looking for dementia care for my mother when exclusively consulting the government website. When visiting facilities, I was sad and angry to find that the dementia residents were always stuck in the dark spaces, the neglected areas, the seemingly unloved holes in the nursing homes. After the death of my father, my Mum was fortunate enough to move to Group Homes in Rose Bay. A beautiful environment under the care of an amazing team of wonderful, loving home makers. Mum was happy there and the freedom for the family to come and go and be part of the daily life at the home made such a difference to the quality of Mum's life and the time we got to spend with her. The way Group Homes welcomed Mum home from hospital for her last days was the most compassionate act of kindness and we will be forever grateful.I would highly recommend Group Homes to anyone looking for the very best aged care available.
