Melissa Cakes Cafe Bar.
A place where locals enjoy regular visits. Has to be good to compete with Nona's cooking. Pretty much all the food looked great. Ours was awesome as were the cakes and coffee. Zero complaints or issues. We have to go back and try other dishes and cakes. I would have taken a photo but I ate the food too quickly.

Authentic Greek Cafe with a wonderful assortment of cakes on display. I had the Seafood Saganaki and the sauce is so rich and flavorful! Very welcoming staff and spacious cafe.

Had a breakfast takeaway here. The eggs bacon and tomato chutney focacia and reg cappucino.The food was good and the coffee was even better.The lady at the counter was very kind. 5 stars for her customer service.

We needed a table for 8 after lunchtime today, Sunday 21/5/2022. They were busy, but set up a table for us next to the service station. The hostess/waitress did this in an annoyed and frustrated manner. We went to the cake display to see the options that are not on the menu, which is completely normal, right? Then the same lady kept forcefully telling us that we need to sit down to order. She was rushing us to make us leave asap. We had our coffees and cake, which were tasteless because of this horrible service. Then she loudly told another waitress when she was standing behind us that they need us to leave asap so that they can use their station. She pushed my mum's chair as soon as she stood up. She hadn't even moved away from the table yet. Why did they make a table for us if it was so inconvenient for them? Did we eat and drink for free? The customer service is horrible every time. I hadn't been there for ages because of this. Never going there again. The other options nearby in this area are so much better. They treat their customers with dignity. They could have told us there's a waiting time for a table and we would have respected that.

Booked for Mothers day for 13 persons and was surprised because the only offering they had was the set menu at $60 per head. no one told us about this during booking, I've even called 2x to reconfirm my booking. The lady just made an excuse saying kids nowadays don't care

Quality has definitely gone down hill, ordered eggs on toast and a hot drink. Drink came out Luke warm, poached eggs were that under cooked they fell apart soon as I touched them and the egg whites were not cooked they were all runny and liquid like and the “toast” came out like bread

The place was very noisy and difficult to hear the other people in the group. The price of the food and drinks were decent. The food arrived to the table in a timely manner which was pleasing, however the dessert took over 25 minutes which seemed excessive for putting some cakes onto a plate. Otherwise the food and service was good.

Delicious food. Great range of food to choose from. Good luck choosing a cake to have with your coffee, as there is too big of choice to choose from. I had to have a variety. Reasonable prices. Great customer service. Lovely atmosphere. Car parking available on site. Do yourself a favour and make a reservation. Enjoy

Nice busy place, had a good welcoming from the staff, prepared our reserved table in such a good place, two things put us down a bit, some food was oily and staff after a bit completely forgot us till i should left my hand up and some shouts to get someone’s attention!!Ordered Calamari and salad, salad was just off the plastic from either coles or woolie, just added some balsamicHad a glass of Red from little berry SA, it was nice, then after asked for our own cake to be served after lunch it took half an hour to clean the table and bring the cake which we didn’t mind as we had some time to catch up and go around the table to talk with each other. I did taste a grill chicken from the salad, it was a but burnt too!
