Good , clean restaurant. Staff reasonable polite. Lots of varieties. Price is very reasonable, even for non members. Highly recommended.

5 stars for quality and price! Really good selection of Asian/Chinese dishes. Hard to beat $29 for dinner. Would recommend. If you are expecting your run-of-the-mill RSL buffet with a lot of western food, you’ll be sorely disappointed.

BUFFET 88
Good value all you can eat for around $30 for non members. A fair selection of dishes from sea food and prawns to Asian and roast beef. Much better than the Star buffet in my opinion with almost half the price tag. Staff are alert and keep the place tidy.

BUFFET 88
Definitely the worst experience I've ever had。On 17June 18:52, my boyfriend and me went to the Buffet 88, that’s the first time we visited. When we arrived at the entrance, there was a staff, he is tall, tan skin, with black framed glasses, and he started yelling, “No hat!No hat!” . Because my boyfriend has hair skin problems, he needs to wear a hat. And we didn't know that hats are not allowed there. I was a little disappointed with his attitude, I felt like he didn't need to yell, just say please take off the hat, that’s enough. He asked us to show ID with photo. We took out passports, he shouted“passport!” His face looked impatient! I don’t know why his reaction was so rude. He asked us to type our passport information into the computer. Because my boyfriend doesn’t know English, can’t understand him. I translate English to Chinese for my boyfriend, he shouted: “English!English!English!” I felt so uncomfortable with him but didn’t say anything. My boyfriend couldn’t understand his English, I tried to translate again, he was shouting : “English!English!English!” Again to us, I said, because he can’t understand English, that’s why I talk to him in Chinese. He said: “Learning ! Learning !” My feelings was like we are adults, not his kids, he is not qualified to yell us! My boyfriend is learning English, just need time to get progress! I said “ You are so rude, that’s discrimination!” He said: Maybe, if you don’t like you can go!!!”I was so shocked about his attitude and what he said! I wonder to know does he know what is customer service?what does customer’s experience mean to him? What’s his role in this job? What’s his responsibility for the job? Did the facility provide him a job training? That’s unbelievable and ridiculous!Australia is an immigrant country. There are many people from different countries live in Australian, combined by different cultures, and different languages. We cannot discriminate against any race and culture. As a staff who works at reception, he has to accept and welcome customers from all countries. A reception staff is the face of the facility. How can he yell the customer, if you don’t like, you can go!!!I wonder to know is he the manager or the CEO ? How come the facility allows staff perform like this? Employees are paid because of the presence of customers. If he discriminates against Asians and tells every Asian that they can leave if they don’t like it, how can he get paid?Unfortunately, a super awful experience.

BUFFET 88
Everything was over cooked and dry.It was crowded and by 12 pm nothing was left, only fried food and salads. Most yum cha items were already taken . Auntie who speaks mandarin was very rude and told me off for taking dim sums off her tray. Even watermelon slices and jelly cubes were out. Ice cream was watery. No cold drinks available so I got a hot chocolate instead. You get what you pay for.

Overall it's okay. Especially for the watermelon, I ate a lot. But I'm not a big fan of the meat and sea food they cooked. I prefer the vegetable and fruit here. They also service desert, but it's so sweet for me. Anyway, the price is quiet nice.

Food supply is abundant! Almost every dish gets refilled promptly after customers have emptied it. The price is fairly cheap considering that cooked fish, mussels and prawns are available. Its true reason for operating there may be attracting people to the numerous slot machines in the same club. However, the staff has proper manners – no one tries to encourage people to gamble. Hence, many families feel comfortable to bring their kids there.
