Waverley Road Basin

Always nice. This is a linking walking and cycling trail to Jells Park on the East and the city on the Westward direction. This particular section has ponds and wetlands along the track. Hope to see more of this public trails in our neighbourhood!As a first world country, I can see that abundance of everything includes the obesity level. I look forward to more public land and outdoor activities in safety.With the increasing crime lurking around the neighbourhood, it is a shame that we do need to be cautious, either exercise during peak hours or in groups. Hope security cameras are installed at darker spots along the paths as well. However the return of neighbourhood watch to patrol these trails at night? On the other note, someone told me he fell off the bicycle, broke his arm, and had to wait for more than an hour before someone pass by - that was more remote area under the Stephensons Rd stretch. He forgot to bring his mobile phone! Hope it helps.

Scotchman creek is perfect bike trail

A gem of nature and urban water flow in the middle of South East suburbia.If you're in the area,looking for a peaceful hike alongside a wide creek,and don't want to travel too far,The Waverly Road Basin is fantastic for a trek.Includes a cycling track, plenty of free surrounding street parking places,and rock scatterings to cross the creek if you're feeling adventurous.

This is a great place to walk, a wide path with rolling hills and large trees. The Creek was running quickly as it recently rained. We saw plenty of wildlife. Seats are available to sit on if required. Three bridges to walk over was nice too.

Its a nice park with a fair bit of biodiversity despite being in the middle of suburbia.

Love this track. Lost of wildlife and always beautiful.

Lovely area amongst the suburban hubub. If you're lucky, you might see a heron beside the water

It's a good walking experience. The shared pathway running through it lets you cover a lot if distance. Good short cut also
