The Reef Retreat Palm Cove
My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights last week. The room was spotless clean and exactly as described online. The pool was beautiful and very well maintained. Location was great, just a few meters to the beach. Check in/out was smooth and they provided us with private off road parking. Would definitely stay here again.

The Reef Retreat Palm Cove
The Reef Retreat is in a great location, tucked away from the busy beach strip, yet close. The apartment, while basic, has everything you need and is spotless. Surrounded by beautifully lush, tropical gardens. There is an expansive BBQ, alfresco dining / lounge, pool and spa area, that has a very inviting, 'community spirit'. Onsite laundry was very convenient, for both a whole load or a quick hand wash of your smalls. Front desk very helpful with queries and has a large wall of tourist info. Look forward to visiting again.

The Reef Retreat Palm Cove
Located centrally. Well priced self-contained unit, which was clean and comfortable, with relaxing, fresh decor. Reception sells drinks for very affordable prices, which we enjoyed on our little patio area. Pool was beautiful and shady, with a very lovely deck and BBQ area nearby. We really enjoyed our stay.

The Reef Retreat Palm Cove
We finally got to holiday in Palm Cove and stayed at the Reef Retreat. It is a beautiful location with a real tropical feel. The pool area is private and shady. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. We had a kitchenette and found the under bench fridge a bit small if you want to store food and drinks. Also we had a few maintenance issues but they were fixed swiftly by Allen. He was very efficient and helpful. Other than that we loved staying at Reef Retreat and would highly recommend it.

The Reef Retreat Palm Cove
Currently staying here for a short getaway in Palm Cove and disappointed already. Upon laying down in the bed we found numerous long dark hairs around the pillows so unsure if the bedding was changed prior to our arrival. Also just received a telephone call from management at 3.00pm in the afternoon to state our TV was too loud whilst we were watching a movie. We are certainly not rowdy young party people, merely a couple trying to enjoy their stay so being told not to make noise from our room seems unfair considering the kids outside can make whatever noise they like. Hoping our stay gets better. And yes I am a current guest, my booking is under my full name.

Awesome facility everything was clean and neat, pool and bbq area was clean and spa was nice a hot great for a night swim, love the natural surroundings it’s like being in the thick Daintree with all the trees and greenery, extremely quiet and peaceful, only negative was that we had to leave. Was a pleasant experience!

The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. Located in a great position in palm cove! Good variety of cooking utensils also! Pool was very clean and great to swim in! BBQ area also very tidy! Wasn’t really a fan of the shutters as there isint a whole lot of privacy shutting you out from the outside to the inside. I’m just greatful our neighbors were quiet :)

The Reef Retreat Palm Cove
Had such a lovely stay here! It's pretty quiet - no loud noises or people yelling. We got to almost swim by ourselves in the pool in the rain. The pool is heated which was really nice. The spa is also lovely and warm.The wooden stairs leading to the rooms added such a beachy vibe, and the wooden slats in the rooms for the windows were also beachy!Within walking distance to many restaurants, and the bustling Sunday market, we really enjoyed out stay here.The gentlemen who greeted us at the front desk wasn't super friendly.Would definitely stay here again, and I would recommend it to friends and family!
