Grand View Hotel

Kate provided excellent service while we stayed at the hotel. It's got shared bathrooms but they appear very clean. I would probably stay here again and dine at the restaurant next time I'm here. Highly recommended and Wentworth Falls is only 5min away.

We visited the Grand View Hotel for lunch as part of a Blue Mountains tour group. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. They provided good options for dietary requirements including a gluten free and vegan option.

So ive had a few lunch feeds here in the past year, that have left me leaving this establishment frustrated. Whilst i can not fault the service staff, who are incredibly helpfully and friendly, the kitchen and or management need to check their service priorities. Today myself and a friend purchased our meals at 12:10pm, we did not receive our meals untill 1pm. Our meals were pretty basic and usually im understanding if a kitchen is under the pump. But waiting 50minutes to receive your meal whilst watching two separate bus loads of tourists walk in after you, receive and finish their meals before you see yours, thats PATHETIC. Ill also add this is now the third time this or similar situations have occurred. The service staff were incredibly apologetic, and i was left feeling bad for them. They would, on the regular be coping complaints from rightfully frustrated patrons fro something out of their hands. This is incredibly poor business practice and managment need to take a good hard look at their kitchen staff, their process and how they can support their floor staff so they are not left apologising for the establishments short comings. IF i do choose to return, which will not be in the near future, it will only be because of how kind the floor staff here are and thats it.

Came in for an impromptu lunch after a long cold walk in Wentworth Falls! Food service was friendly and welcoming but the guy at the bar was in my opinion a bit dismissive! Served others but ignored me even though I was clearly waiting in line and therefore did not feel welcomed! A food staff picked this up and served us a nice pint of IPA and they had Guinness Stout on tap!!! Food-wise, we enjoyed the lamb pie but the pork cutlet special was uninspiring! Shld have stuck with a burger! Bar space felt new, renovated but lacked character needed of a mountain pub!

We stopped here on the way home from visiting the 3 sisters. The staff were really lovely and accommodating. They interacted with our little boy and he had a play in the kids room while we ate.We just stopped without plan for a meal, very pleased that we did.

We stopped for lunch, and the main restaurant was busy, and we had the balcony area to ourselves, with the sun coming in the windows. Fantastic food, very tasty and great flavour.

Visited 29/4/23. Large group , beautiful appointed private dining room. Deluxe finger food , tea &coffee.Exception waitress attended , met us on entering the hotel & took us in. Outstanding service. The hotel is welcoming, clean ,bright.& inviting.
