Great not too difficult hike. Can be done by people of all ages. While on our way back and forth, we saw several group of higher age group people(70+) doing the hike. There is bit of steps to climb towards the end. Put some mozzie repellent.

If you're a good and confident/experienced hiker and use the right gear then it's an awesome hike on a sunny winters day (totally different conditions than in summer and really proper gear (snowshoes or very good hiking boots) as also adequate clothing is required!), as it will be barely anyone there and you can enjoy complete silence. Maybe you even go a bit further to the plateau and can enjoy breathtaking view on pristine snow with Gumtrees peaking trough it.
