Food was really good, coffee and hot beverages were like warm when they finally got to the table. Service was a little slow but they did apologise for the delay with minimal staff

Great food and service.A hidden gem!

Travelling from interstate and wanted to try out the self proclaimed “hidden gem”, but unfortunately we left sorely disappointed and feeling queasy.Very understaffed so we stood around waiting for our pre booked table for about 15 minutes after booked time to then be seated and left for over 30 minutes before table service to order. In fact, other tables that arrived after us had their orders taken first and food arrived before we even placed our order. When those customers told the staff we had arrived before them the staff brushed us off and said we were fine. Not sure why as we were seated with our menus still and no one had come to us yet.Kids enjoyed their small portioned ice cream but complained about their cold stale pancakes which our 8 year old said maccas hotcakes were nicer. Kids ice cream flavours came out different to what was ordered and added items were forgotten.Adults ordered the All Day breakfast and immediately realised it was an error. Full of pepper and couldn’t taste anything else. Apparently a few other reviews have said the same thing. Eggs were cooked so much that it was like eating rubber. Delightful.Another meal that was ordered just never turned up.We expressed to the staff that the All Day breakfasts were not edible and that a meal was missed but they still charged full price and did not offer to make amends. $113 for two adults and two kids.We were excited about visiting but honestly will not return nor recommend.

This place is a must for pancake lovers. It's guaranteed that you'll be met with genuinely friendly customer service and the pancakes themselves are perfection - light, fluffy and a huge selection of condiments to make your own flavours. For savoury pancake fans, I can't go past the Irish Delight.Dietary requirements? No worries. There's vegan pancakes and protein packed pancakes. On one visit, I was on a dairy free diet and they were so accommodating for my needs, they even changed the ingredients in their menu for me.The cafe is hidden away in a boat shop, so it can be difficult to find for first time visitors. But it's truly a hidden gem, you won't regret it!

Pancakes came out of the kitchen first and sat on the serving tray for at least 10 minutes while the decorations were being assembled. By the time they were served the pancakes had gone cold and hard - very over priced for the size and quantity.Coffee ordered was cold and they replaced it with another Luke warm coffee , but then when the “all day breakie” was served the eggs were cold and looked as though they had been sitting there for 15 minutes but what was worse was the cracked pepper on the side that burnt the side of my tongue with the very first bite. This entire meal cost $140 (including 2 coffees and 3 hot chocolates not shown in photos). Egg dish was returned as you see it in the photo.

I use to work here glad to see Denise hard work is still doing so great. Such beautiful pancakes i use to get ones to take home for my daughter and she just loved them. You can just taste the difference from your ordinary pancakes. I'm now a mum of 2 and will definitely have to come try it again with my youngest. Hope your well Denise I need to try the Irish Savory pancakes if still available I never got to while I was working there

Extremely disappointingWe came in today for mothers day, which was advertised as $30ph for unlimited pancake banquet for a 1.5 hour seating.We could tell as soon as we arrived they were understaffed, it took 30mins for our drink order to be taken and another 30mins for our luke warm coffees to arrive. They did not have water glasses so were served water out of baby chino cups.The first serve of pancakes came out after 45mins and we had 2 small pancakes each, we were informed there would be more coming, 15minutes before our seating was up another small serve came out and when we asked for another serve the chef looked horrified, we asked to speak to the manager and she began arguing with us in front of all the other customers and told us everyone else is having a good time its just us.The young wait staff were doing the best job they could with the resources they were given.We will not be coming back to the Braeside Pancake train!

Tucked away inside JV Marine world is the non descript eatery area that is well transformed from boat showroom to diner style.Friendly, effective, efficient and over accomdating staff on hand to great you.I am not a big pancake person, and two things I'd thought would never go together would be pancakes and chilli con carne but outstandingly they did.The chilli con carne was one of the best I've had world wide, even leaving me tempting to order a second.Bit pricey, but worth it for food quality.Food delivered in a good timely manner.
