I would like to give a huge thank you to vet Dr Lisa Laycock for saving the life of my dogs after they both got bitten by brown snakes. Not only was she fast efficient professional & knowledgeable, she went above and beyond giving genuine care & thoughtfulness to me & my pets in the extremely traumatic time. She is truly an exceptional human and an absolute asset to South East Country vets. I am blessed to have had her service. Thank you

I have had both bad & good experiences with this Vet Surgery, with the bad experiences the Vet is no longer there and the other vet doesn't work at this location often. The current vet that I have been seeing there for my dog with Cushings Disease is good. I am not inclined to recommend this vet after my personal experience, they are great for general stuff - I have not had them treat any cattle yet, only my dogs, but based on that alone I would only use them for general stuff. I dont have alot of options living where I do and my dog cannot travel long distances in the car...

2 days ago I brought in a wild animal that had been hit by a car. In the process of bringing the animal in I received a nasty bite - almost an inch long, very painful and bleeding. When I took the animal in to the vets I asked for some first aid. I just wanted to wash the wound and maybe put some antiseptic on it until I could see a doctor and get it looked at properly. Both the vet and vet nurse refused to give me any first aid, which was really frustrating and frankly a bit dangerous as I wanted to clean the wound right away. Although no one in Qld is under any legal obligation to render first aid to an injured person, I think it's looking after each other like this that turns us into a community rather than isolated individuals and businesses. Now more than ever that's really important because of all the restrictions and pressures from covid. I was very disappointed with the clinics response and certainly won't be taking anymore injured animals there - either wild or domestic.

We called for help on Friday evening and Sunday morning, and each time got the help we needed for our dog. We are very grateful for these dedicated professionals!

I have 6 dogs, 50 goats, 15 chickens, 10 horses etc. They send my father a message when our animals need their check-ups. I believe that they are amazing vets for crows nest. The only thing they need to improve is their hours. My friends cat died because the vets are not open when he needed them.

Such a lovely, professional, friendly business. Have taken our fur babies and injured wildlife here and nothing but praise for how the team have always handled every situation.
