This place is amazing! As soon as me and my family entered we were amazed by how friendly and helpful the staff were. The food was amazing, we got a plate of pasta carbonara, squid ink tagliolini and a plate or appetisers and to say it was amazing is an understatement. I would recommend taking your family here as its an amazing place to go on a night out. The owner is italian so 100% the best food ever

Went to the Sailor Kitchen and Bar specifically for there Sunday roast. Well worth it, wife and daughter shared a lamb shoulder roster and I had the meat option. Lovely, very enjoyable. Would certainly return if we are ever visiting the North Shore again again.

Fabulous food and really nice wait staff. Please give this place a go. We need good Italian food in the local area and a new business always deserves our support. My vegan gnocchi was to die for and my partner said her prosciutto pizza was fantastic. Great wine list and a cosy setting. Give it a go!

Had a great meal and great time at the special Italian Truffle event. Antonio was great explaining every dish to us. Nice to get the background and history in that wonderful Italian accent.Everything was great and will definitely be coming back.

An impromptu dinner at this obviously local favourite. Quiet for a Friday night but there was no live music that we had hoped for. No matter dinner and service were great! Starters were very tasty and the mains were sumptuous. I wish the duck breast special were more rendered as it was still fatty and chewy! We would highly recommend the Fisherman bowl. Service was friendly and attentive. We will be back again when there’s music!

Newly local residents who love venturing out to try what's on our doorstep. So glad we did as the food was delicious. Hard to find a good pasta and seafood dish. Prawn and zucchini linguine was beautiful and tasty as was the pappardelle ragu! Great wine list to match, simple but very fitting.On the list for a sneaky mid week feed for sure.

the new owners are amazing people and the food is superb, we were treated amazingly and the staff was super friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for an authentic italian restaurant to take your family and friends to.

Thank you Kieran for your wonderful service, food and atmosphere at The Sailor. Your were so accommodating and very patient with the ever changing (last minute) guest numbers at our gathering. The guests loved your outside lounge area. We stayed there through drinks, snacks and the meal.I thoroughly recommend The Sailor for events, small or large. :)
