Gentle Nails

I’ve used Gentle Nails in Noranda shopping centre before (2 or so yrs ago!), I was never disappointed until my recent (awful) experience… I had a pedicure which wasn’t so bad, but when it came to acrylic nails and polish, firstly, I was made to wait almost an hour before the lady attended to me, but then she kept going back and forth between 2 other ladies and I (so 1 woman doing acrylics for 3 ladies) unfortunately because she was rushing she did a terrible job, my acrylics looks like they need refilling already (it’s only been 4days!)! Never going back there!!

$30 for shellac removal and reapplication, so a good price (they take cash only) but nail shaping was very poor and application patchy (consistently missing the sides of nails.) I’ve been twice now and it was the same each time. Won’t bother again.

I would give 0 stars if it let me ,I went for a second time after my first time was disappointing but I thought I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt as maybe they had an off day but was exactly the same experience and I wish I wouldn’t have bothered!Customer service is disgraceful! They are so rude and unwelcoming and made me wait for ages while they served other customers who came in after me! They were all sitting there taking their own language which is extremely rude .would not recommend and I certainly would not go again.

Rly good place my only problem is that they take way too long to do the nails I was sitting there for almost 2 hours.Overall pretty good

I’ve been here twice and had the same experience. Shouldn’t have gone back after the first!I came in and waited my turn but then was told halfway that the ‘powder needs to set’ so she could take off and start 3 other peoples nails! When I called her back asking what’s going on, she was obviously put out and then hurried the rest of the job.My mistake for giving them a second shot

My Mani and Pedi were perfect however my friends was not, she got charged $15 more even though she booked in for a specific treatment that is on the price list. They wouldn't budge so paid the extra which was fine but when we left we realised the nails were wonky and there were bubbles all over the top coat, so went back and explained but they were not happy and tried to just file the corners of the nail, eventually they took it off but tried to get us to pay for the removal. Some of the nails they do here are so amazing but unfortunately this experience has made us not want to come back. Would not recommend

I had my nails done for the first time here..I got SNS with a tip extension. Within two weeks it was cracking but I am a busy mum and my sister who is a full time student and works part time loves it there. It was friendly. No real complaints and would probably go again just for the relaxing me time.
