We travel full-time so my visits to the hairdresser can be few and far between. I happened to walk past the salon on search for coffee and thought I'd try my luck at an appt and was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by Helen who was so lovely and rather than it all be too hard she was able to secure me a cancellation that day.Kim was fantastic, she listened to what I wanted and the result was better than I expected. She didn't have time to do a style cut as she was booked with another client but she made the effort to arrange my cut with Mimi who had a cancellation last minute.Exactly what you want in a salon, professional yet caring enough to make an effort. You feel like a valued client, which in this day and age doesn't seem to happen often anymore. Overall the salon has such a nice relaxing feel and if I lived in the area I would definitely become a regular.

After many failed attempts and having left the last salon in tears with damaged and yucky hair I was just about to lose hope, my confidence levels were at their lowest and my long hair and hard worked seemed to have gone down the drain. I decided to give it one last try; Erin was my colourist and stylist and I cannot express how amazing my experience with her was, She has made me feel gorgeous and the compliments have rolled in everyday from my family and friends; my hair is the centre of attention! I don’t understand how she nailed my colour so perfectly and managed to fix a big mess but I appreciate it so much and I’ve never been happier, I can’t recommend her and the Basin haircutters enough!

Up until recently, I’ve never been loyal to any hairdresser in particular - I was just happy to go with whoever is available. Now I don’t want to go to anyone but Hannah. She does the prettiest natural foils and won’t hesitate to stop mid-blow dry to show me styling tips because I’m useless at curling my own hair. Also, she’s super lovely to chat to. Highly recommend! ☺️

Amazing experience. As a man I don't stray from the barber until they messed my last cut up really bad and decided to try something different. Bec was my hairdresser and was beyond lovely and accommodating to my girlfriend and myself.Great haircut and the service is just amazing. Will always recommend Basin for future visits. Thanks heaps!

Going in not knowing what I needed but knowing I didn’t love my hair. Han was super friendly and helped me step by step figure out what I wanted in my hair and was very careful cutting considering my hair isn’t thick at all!! Super knowledgeable. So happy with my hair it’s a Great cut for when it’s curly and when I blow dry it. Perfect xo
