Pioneer Lodge Motel
A short walk from the IGA, and not far from takeaway joints like dominoes and red rooster, though there is a restaurant on site. The parking is pretty tight (~2.1-2.2m clearance to get under the restaurant). Microwaves are on request, so if you want one make sure to ask when booking. There was a half empty bottle of milk and juice in my fridge, but the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. All in all a pretty good stay.

A lovely clean,quiet and comfortable motel. Easy walk distance to the main part of town. Also had a lovely meal at the Corralee Hotel.

Pioneer Lodge Motel
The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Strong room deodorant. Breakfast was terrible for the amount of money paid. Steak was old and chewy, tomatoes microwaved and bruised/old and bacon was tough. Not worth the money.

Pioneer Lodge Motel
I had stayed here twice before. I've tried others in this town and I wondered why one of them was still in business to be blunt. When work sent me to this region for two months travelling all the back roads, I'd have gone crazy had it not been for returning each night to this little gem of a place. If you want the best restaurant food (and I mean the best) after work and consistent good old fashioned friendly and attentive service in freshly cleaned comfortable home like rooms then this is the place. I don't care that I could shift 50 km to closer motels for a week here and there. I insist on staying here. The quality never slips. I don't want 5 Star (but I'm giving it to them). I want refreshed, and these guys have it in spades. What a team. I realise that I'm actually going to miss them when I go.

Pioneer Lodge Motel
Room is nice well kept with a kitchenette. Staff seem friendly. The only downside is there is no key return or you can't leave your keys in your room when you check out rang the doorbell no response in the end some guy (had not seen before) asked for my keys hopefully the correct person. Located on the edge of town close to local shops

Very accomodating to our large group! We had everything we needed in our rooms and great customer service on arrival. Really loved the bright bathrooms with environmentally friendly dispensers. Great value for money.

Basic room, nicely presented, close to RSL for meal if you are early enough(was not offered restaurant although it was advertised, perhaps only weekends?). Clean and comfortable, friendly staff and perfect overnight stay for me. Would recommend.

I love it because it's quiet and cheap and simple, the place atm is mostly for the working people, but is soon to be renovated and have a facelift, the Property owners, Karen I dealt with mostly is always very helpful and accommodating. Renovations start mid November..

Went to the restaurant for dinner. Quite a quiet evening, not particularly busy. Seated and served drinks within five minutes. I ordered the two lamb shanks, which were brilliantly cooked. Overall a very good experience.

Pioneer Lodge Motel
This was our second stay, first being early April. Chances are when we come visiting again, we will def book with Pioneer. They made us feel welcome, no request was too much trouble, and they even were able to accommodate us for an extra nights stay at very short notice. I also loved the work the cleaners do too. They always made our room smell so fresh and cleaned, replenishing fridge. They deserve a lot of credit for the great work they do. I would defy anyone to find a better place to stay in Kingaroy than Pioneer. Central to all shops and amenities .Keep up the good welcoming work, team. Will see you all again.Highly rated
