The Waterfront Function Centre

We had the best wedding night at the waterfront centre. The staff leading up to the wedding and on the night were super accomodating and so helpful. Everything went so smoothly even when timing was pushed back or guests weren’t arriving on time. The staff there were so professional and friendly and knew exactly what to do when things weren’t going to plan, especially Savanna and Jacklyn who just went above and beyond. The food was some of the best wedding food Ive had. We received so many compliments about how fantastic the food and wine was. Thank you Savanna, Jacklyn and the waterfront function team for an absolutely unforgettable night!

A fantastic backdrop for our wedding. Amy and the team were fantastic, easy to work with, and exceptionally organised on the day. The food was spectacular, and our guests' special needs were accommodated without concern. The Sapphire room was a perfect space for our small guest list, with its own private entrance and bar.

I partook in a wedding in the Waterfront room of the function centre, over the long weekend. My overall experience only exceeded expectations.The wedding was a total success thanks to the wonderful team behind the event, especially the Manager Georgia, who made sure we were kept up to date, taken care of and all of our wishes granted.On the night the wait staff were welcoming, efficient, & sensitive to our needs.Great location. Lots of parking.Definitely would recommend!!

Georgia, Stella and the entire Waterfront function team were absolutely sensational! We literally had the perfect wedding thanks to their massive efforts bringing the day together. Stella was our coordinator on the day and she did a wonderfully amazing job - She provided exceptional service. Stella was kind enough to manage the organisation of all our suppliers so that all the designs, elements etc. came together as we described - The reception came to life and we were astounded how wonderfully put together - like a dream come true (see photo attached of the bridal table and cake layout and design). The entire team were very responsive to my calls and emails and also addressed any concerns I had (wedding planning was new to me). I was very fortunate to have the Waterfront team guide me every step of the way. They were very organised and ensured everything ran as smoothly as possible - and it turned out even better than we ever thought possible. A memorable unforgettable day indeed that my husband and I will remember for the rest of our lives. Thanks God for the weather - Waterfront really offers breathtaking water views with classy yachts in the backdrop, convenient location, and with the added bonus of plenty of hassle free parking for all our wedding guests. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional venue to hold any function or wedding (we did both our wedding ceremony and reception at Waterfront - our guests loved this convenience) + + +

We held our wedding reception at St George Motor Boat Club - Waterfront Function Centre in April 2014. We had the whole Waterfront Room booked for our event of 140 people.Our review is consistent with everyone else's here - it was a fabulous experience. The event staff, the service staff, the view, the food, the drinks and the ambience all for a great value for money price were unbeatable. We received so many compliments for our selection of venue and we had such a fabulous time. The food in particular I was very nervous about as I had eaten at the Captains Grill once before and it wasn't anything to rave about. However the food on the night of the wedding was fabulous. As assured by the events staff, they had a dedicated kitchen for functions and the difference was truly notable on the night.All in all, the rating of 5 on this reflects not only that we had an amazing night but also is based on the feedback we've received from family and friends after the fact. We just wish we could do it all over again, so glad we held our wedding here!Highly recommended to any bride doing research before selecting her venue, especially if you're looking for a more relaxed setting given it's external club environment. If you're looking for a modern venue near the water without spending a fortune on Sydney Harbour venues, this place is an excellent choice. We loved it, so did our parents and guests!

The preparation leading up to the big day and assistance with covid related issues also made it less stressful. Kat, for your assistance on the day and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Great venue, great service and didn't cost us an arm and leg to allow our perfect wedding to come true. All guests have commented on having the best time at our wedding so thank you waterfront!

Waterfront Function Centre is a fabulous location with amazing views and ample parking for a function . Staff friendly, helpful and professional when organised Colourful Birthday Ball fundraiser for Nicole Fitzsimons Foundation . Food was delicious and to schedule to make a great evening. This was our second Ball here and look forward to returning again.

We have attended 2 weddings in the Waterfront Function Centre. They certainly know how to host a wedding - the venue, catering and outlook are amazing. One of the weddings the couple were married on site, with the bride walking down the aisle on the balcony area. The view of the marina made a great backdrop for the wedding photos.
