This is the western terminal of the CityCat ferry service in Brisbane River, which is undoubtedly the most enjoyable means of transportation between the university and other parts of Brisbane. The first ferry usually departs after 5 am, making it the only viable option for students who stay up all night as there are no buses running at that time. However, it is a bit of a trek from the heart of the campus, requiring a long walk every time you want to catch the CityCat. It would be fantastic if the service could extend to the western reaches of the Brisbane River, allowing for even more exploration opportunities.

Best spot to start or to finish your CityCat trips. Take the ferry up to New Farm Park terminal, enjoy the parks there during the sunset, grab a chilled drink at the Brisbane Powerhouse and then head back on the ferry again...
