Alterations R Us

Had a zip replaced only to use the zip a couple of times and now it’s broken already, on returning to get them to replace it they said they only guarantee the sewing not the zip even though they provided the zip!!! And they were so rude…

I’ve never left a bad review anywhere but I’m disappointed and will never use them again. I had two pairs of pants shortened on April 13, 2018. After 3 washes, the sewing loosened and the hem fell apart on one of the legs.I brought them in to be fixed and was told they would only fix them if they were shortened less than three months ago. Today is July 21 so I missed it by a week. I explained that the hem came apart two months ago and this was the first chance I’d had to return them. Her response was ‘they’re not going to get fixed in your closet’.So, I wasn’t going to pay $10 for them to fix bad work. It’s a principal thing and not about the money.

If I could give 0 star I would. Please save yourself the garment/s, your money and don't go there. The lady has zero customer service, and will argue on obvious errors. Not worth going at all.

Omg! I don’t normally complain or fuss about small things but this isn’t a small thing and I will not let it pass! Today 01/02/2020 around 11am i went to this Alterations are Us in Oceankeys and I have experienced one of the most horrible, and terrible customer service ever from this lady! I was just not decided yet whether I would proceed or not due to time frame i had so i was just basically making an enquiry! And she gave me a smirky attitude! Whoever you are lady, i want you know that in my years and years or working in the Customer Service industry- you are one of the worst!I am not saying customer is always right, customers can be wrong too but think about it , your business need customers to grow! With you being in that shop - grumpy and cranky to be honest that business might go bankrupt!Worst experience never coming back!!

I recently had a broken zip on a pair of man’s trousers that I needed replaced. The zip was replaced by this company and then 2 months later the zip no longer worked properly. When I took it back to the shop they said that they would have to charge full price to replace the zip again. They said that because the stitching was still intact and it was the zip that didn’t work, it is not their responsibility.This was very disappointing and I will no longer be using their services for alterations.

If I could give her minus 10 I would , save your time don’t go here this lady is absolutely beyond disgusting to her customers , expects you to pay full price before even doing to job ! just go elsewhere you’ll be disappointed

Took in a pair of trousers and jeans to be taken up. Lady was very approachable and got daughter to wear the pants to get the right length. Was around the $20 mark which is what I thought it should cost. Was a Saturday and I was able to pick up within hrs. Would come here again.
