Crackin Dog Grooming

I am all about supporting local businesses and very thankful for what they do for our local community. However, I brought my little dog Jerry (who often travels in my a dog back pack, just for a size comparison) in for a full shave to then be charged $129.95. Mind you she quoted my $80 over the phone a month back. When I questioned the lady she denied this. She was also blatantly rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. This is my first and last time I'll be bringing my dog to Crankin Dog Grooming. My last groomers I took Jerry to in Moonee Ponds only charged me $70 for a full shave. I understand inflation, but my god that is rediculous considering the size of Jerry. I would bloody hate to see what they charge to groom a German Shepherd or horse.Kind regards,Gilly xox

Looking for a good dog groomer? then look no further! pick up your phone and book now (or at least get added to their wait list) then come back here.Ok? your booked in? great!So lets address the elephant in the room - what does a dog grooming place need a wait list for? in short, they are that good! they are normaly booked up for weeks in advance.Second thing, when you pick up your hound, maybe consider making your next booking so you don't get caught out again!Lastly, after all the boring booking stuff. They guys really are great. From the attention on dropoff, making sure they know what you after, to the quality and the happyness of the hound afterwards (I sometimes just grab a coffee over the road and watch them work as the puppies look soo cute) to the 'doggy day care' options if you can't get back to pick up your hound when they are finished with their haircut, there is the whole package available here!Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

I bought my poodle in for a cut and when I came to pick my dog up he was very destressed and had little knicks on its back legs and around its bottom. Not to mention how expensive it was. I was quote one price below $100 and then charged $130. Disgusting! Someone should be giving the groomer a full shave so she can do a better job and see how much she is charging her clients!Do not recommend this business at all!

We have an Australian shepherd dog. Crackin dog grooming who know exactly how to groom him. Friendly and reasonably priced services.

Took our 1 year old English Springer Spaniel here today for grooming. I was nervous because our darling feisty Bonnie can be a handful and has had mixed experiences with grooming to date. I could not be happier with the beautiful job that was done for her!! When we arrived I was struck by the calm environment at this salon. The 4 dogs being groomed were relaxed and happy, no anxious barking here. When we picked Bonnie up she was just being finished and she was chilled and happy as were the other dogs that were there. Our dog looks beautiful, everything we wanted done was achieved to a high standard without stressing our girl. I highly recommend this kind and very professional salon and it’s staff and am very glad to have found them.

My fur baby Eddy absolutely loves it here and she always comes out looking like a show dog.The groomers are all so professional and my pooch always looks happy as I stalk her from across the road :)I recommend this place to all the fur mommas I know :))

Absolutely dreadful. Virtually shaved our dog down so she was unrecognisable. Nicked the dog’s leg in doing so. I do not recommend this groomer at all. Worst experience. I would rate zero stars if I could.As a post script, our dog was so badly groomed that we had to take her to the vet. She did not arrive at the groomers in poor condition. She is a well loved, well cared for dog, and she had a small amount of matting but this did not justify virtually shaving all her fur and whiskers. The disclaimer is a nonsense. You were not authorised to shave the dog down and injure her.
