Teachers here are cruel and mean, the principal is incompetent when it comes to understanding his students needs. The school is terrible when it comes to mental all they do is tell you to deal with it. All the good teachers at this school have either been fired or aren't paid enough, the good teachers are fired for not being vaccinated and the bad teachers are kept on even after assaulting students and touching the m without there permission

its an ok school some teachers talk too much and make it HARD TO DO YOUR WORK but overall 3 star they are building a new block instead of basket ball courts everyone used them but now we can't and there is only the hall which has the time schedule. other than that there are dangerous spots of sharp concrete was injured and year 9,8, and 7's are harassing students for food and lollies

i think mister walker is stinky and why arent there doors on the toylets, but there is good potential as it is a envirenment for hitting that griddy and getting hella sturdy with blaze cuz

It's a pretty nice school!EDIT: The previous review was written a few years ago and has become obsolete due to changes within the school.Coolum State High School has undergone many changes throughout the past year, especially in regards to the school principle changing. I have gone to Coolum State High School for many years and am in my last year. The school has always been very relaxed (in a way which students liked) in regards to the uniform. Due to a change in principle, this has been the biggest change, alongside strict enforcement of black leather shoes. Initially, this was very disliked by students (small number still) but it has really improved the overall appearance of the school which was what the principle was aiming for.One of the biggest and most frustrating changes as a senior was the removal of our free period (where we went home to study). As a VET (Vocational Education Training) student, this free class has been replaced with a CVP class (Certificate II in Skills For Work and Vocational Pathways). This class has tests which determine that a student is not an idiot by evaluating their numeracy and literacy skills. For example 1046 + 10 = ?". Honestly. My study time has been replaced by this load of garbage.Lastly

A very well run State School that cares for the students in a safe and friendly environment. Located in a fantastic position with large outdoor areas and nature surrounds. New quality infrastructure is being built as the number of attendees grow each year.
