Dan Murphy's Coogee

Worst customer service ever from one of the managers running the place.I often shop in here and have a pleasant experience but tonight the lady in charge wasn’t really nice to us. We came in at 8 pm. By 8,03 I picked 2 bottles of wine and My partner and I are on the way to the fridge to pick up 4 crates of beer when the manager tells me that the timetable displayed online is wrong and the shop actually shuts at 8 not 9pm therefore we need to hurry up and be out. So we rush to get the crates ( also asked indications to find them quickly but “birra moretti” wasn’t easy enough for her to understand so after asking 3 times we eventually get told they ran out).We got to the counter And while we are paying she keeps telling other people to hurry up, so me and my partner try to grab as much as possible ( can’t get out by trolley because there are stoppers on the floor of the main entrance). I went to take the receipt and she shout at me “ just get out”. I asked her who she thought She was talking to since I spent 300$ and I was trying to get out as quickly as I could with all the drinks. I came then back to pick up the wines and she basically telling me I have been rude and I am not allowed to enter the shop again.1 - manager in charge should know the shop closes at 8 not 9, so shut the doors earlier on to avoid problems.2- screaming to customers and not apologizing thats even worse.

Very convenient. Plenty of parking, lots of tastings and a good selection of drinks.

Never seen such a selection of alcohol in my life you'll definitely get what your looking for here

Went to Murphy's Coogee for the last time ever Friday greeted by extremely unfriendly unhelpful passive aggressive lady. All I said to her was I wish there was an easier way to get cases from under the shelf's so I didn't have to get on my hand and knees. She then said I could as she was looking at me on her iPad. I then went and paid and told the cashier and I told him of the dreadful service. She the horrible passive aggressive then said in a loud voice thanks bye we're I then said please stop your passive aggressive attitude she kept going I got in my car never to return bye Dan Murphy for good please for yourself get decent staff.

The brand new Dan Murphy’s store is a very welcome addition to Coogee. It is deceivingly bigger than expected and stocked full of all the brands you expect and way more at reasonable prices. You can either park on the street or drive in the designated parking station.

Top staff in there to recommend staff compared to every other dans ive seen. So far met a former somilier and a wine merchent at free tastings.

Terrible serviceDo not trust them. Ordered a pick up. They ran out of stock for some of the order and did not bother telling me. Managers excuse was product ran out 3 months ago yet it still took my order. Said they tried to call but no missed call or message. Worse than wasting my time was the less than true excuses.

A really big liquor store with good prices and nice ppl to help u to find what u r looking for
