Visiting from Melbourne, found this gem of a hair salon. Sam and team are friendly and professional, very happy with my new hair.

A very professional salon - I felt well looked after by both ladies. This was my first visit to this salon and I am VERY pleased with my hair colour and cut. Sam put a great deal of effort in to understanding what I was after and making expert suggestions. Thanks for an excellent experience!

Another fantastic job done by Sam making me feel like a new woman! Ever since returning home from overseas over 2 yrs ago (due to COVID restrictions), I have been a client of Mo-Dish Hair (and Sam) in Apollo Bay and have been very pleased with everything - from full colour to regrowth touch-ups to cuts - that she has done each and every time. So much so that, even though I find myself now mostly based in Melbourne, I always come back to AB for my hair appointments with Sam. Just got absolutely ripped off by this place. Told to come in early (10:15) and literally sat there for about 2 hours without anything happening.$140 for a brown colour and not even a full head!!$390 dollars later, I have a huge headache and so upset!!!Took nearly 5 hours to do about 2 hours work (Left at 2.53)What a way to treat the locals!Definently do not recommend! RIP OFFS!

@2:20 June 29Sam, the owner, has contacted me by phone in response to the review. She deeply apologized for the situation. The lady that answered the phone was a friend that was helping her out with staff shortages. I could hear in Sam's voice that this situation was hard on her. She offered me a time and space were it would be just us. I am grateful for her ability to go above and beyond for a new client. I said I would like to take the night to consider her offer.@1:15 June 29Tried making a booking by phone and they seemed very incompetent. Didn't know what times where open and was talking to someone else while on the phone to me in another language. Doesn't fill me with trust going under the scissors by them. I asked how busy it was, if every chair was full or not, and she didn't know.I asked because I have high anxiety around people these days and prefer a session with as few people around as possible.

Incredible service, super reasonable prices and my best hair cut ever! Was visiting from Mornington Peninsula on holiday but will be making the trip down for hair styling from now on. Kim and Sam were great. Sam really knows hair!

I never leave reviews but wanted to in this instance because it reflects a great experience that's worth giving kudos to.I had a cut and transformative colour, going from 'box' black/brown to an all over 'even' warm chocolate brown and I'm thrilled with the result.The team at Modish hair are down to earth, warm and friendly. They're highly skilled cut and colourists and the prices are very reasonable. I can honestly say that Modish hair trumps several overpriced and under performing Sydney salons and I'll definitely be visiting again soon.
