Great tour down through Lock 11 and around to APEX park/ river beach. Good on board commentary. Nice way to spend a few hours on a hot afternoon. Canteen has reasonably priced snacks.

We boarded the Rothbury for a two hour cruise on our recent rip to Mildura. The cruise is good value for money and was a relaxing and a pleasant way to spend the afternoon. As there's not a great deal to 'see' on the Murray River, the cruise was a bit on the boring side. Going through Lock 11 and learning about how that operates was the highlight of the cruise. The very easy going captain and commentator (Andy) is nice guy to to have a chat with. He could possibly bring a bit more inflection and animation into his commentary as it tends to drone on and quickly becomes more of a vanilla monotone backdrop to the cruise.Families would probably enjoy the experience.Overall however, the expression on this dog's face (see photo) possibly sums up how most of the passengers would have felt about the river cruise.

We had a good two our cruise on the Rothbury, through Lock 11, round to the weir and beyond. On-board staff were very friendly and the skipper gave a very good commentary. Small shop/cafe on-board.

A lovely, peaceful way to see the Boronga and Mildura waterfronts, and the mighty Murray. The skipper provided some great commentary on the local area, the food was delicious and the boat itself was lovely!

Brilliant experience and something I would recommend to all families who visit the area, it is amazing what you learn while on the boat, and going through lock 11. That in its self is something you will only experience once. Don't miss this opportunity in Mildura.

A must if you happen to be in Mildura, nearly 2 hours of cruising along the Murray River and about half an hour time spent on the the weir lock 11, be amazed by the lowering of the water to the point where it levels the water on the other side.Lots of points of interest along the river was explained in details, and some facts and history about the place..

What a great way to spend a couple of hours. Dogs are allowed on board upstairs at the back. Our Ernie enjoyed the attention of other passengers. The commentary from the Captain was very informative. We enjoyed the experience of going through Lock 11. And Scotty provided a great commentary on the British built Boiler that powers the Paddlesteamer.

Did the dinner cruise. Food wasn't outstanding, but certainly not bad. Live entertainment by Blair was good. Crew were friendly. Scenery was an added bonus. If you're wondering whether to do it or not, do it. Thanks to the obliging young gentleman on the riverbank for the early moonrise. Obviously the brains of the outfit.

relaxing trip on a hot day, and fantastic narrative from the skipper. The trip through Lock 11 is very cool. To see how these locking systems operate on a river, is not an everyday thing you see back home.
