Holy smokes Batman!!! This place should be in a more populous area so more people could enjoy the meat orgasm I just experienced. Small and quaint restaurant in the dairy capital of Queensland with amazing smoked meats and sides.

Compliments to the chef, the food for our wedding was fantastic, even catering for a very unique dietry requirement for one guest. All the staff who were catering and/or waiting tables did a great job.

This place is awesome. Emma and the team have done a fantastic job getting it going post Covid. Abby has been awesome too! Cracking company, staff and food.No photos as we ate too fast.

Incredible food, friendly service and a well decorated venue. The location allows for indoor dining or looking over the fantastic gardens. The menu isn't extensive but this is a good thing as what they do they do very well and they do well to accommodate celiac customers. Well priced to boot, can recommend.

Service was great. Chicken was soft and delicious. Chips were cooked perfectly. Brisket was a bit dry. Pork ribs were cooked perfectly and calamari was awesome great night recommend it

I wasn't expecting such a beautiful place! I just booked because I was sleeping one night at the Malanda Lodge, but it is actually a lovely place to have dinner especially if it is a special occasion as it was for me. The food is amazing, staff very friendly and a very nice wine list. I would come every week if it was nearby home.

Had dinner here with my family while we stayed at the lodge. Rustic and charming restaurant with beautiful views. Service was great and the smoked meats delicious. Definitely worth the drive even if you are staying elsewhere on the Tablelands.

Honestly can't give this place enough stars! I stay at the lodge every time I'm up on the tablelands, regardless of where I need to be up there. Pickle and smoke honestly has the best service and food and the atmosphere is to die for. 11/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
