The Sutherland Shire Council and New South Wales trains / CityRail have upgraded Jannali station, upgrades which completed in early 2019. There is now access to both platforms of Jannali station on both sides of the station, with a footbridge constructed over the top of the railway. The footbridge is also serviced by an elevator providing excellent access for wheelchairs. With the new footbridge and other construction work, there is additional cover for commuters waiting at the station. There are unfortunately no improvements to the timetable which is still incredibly inconvenient for Shire commuters.

A very nice station compared to lots of other stations on the T4 line. The station guard I see every morning there is very informative and friendly. Parking lot is big, bridge helps easy access, and both platforms are very clean, including the restrooms. Services arrive every 6-10 minutes from 7-8 am from my memory. It is quite easy to get a seat, and the station is great for photography. I really hope the upgraded Tangara trains spread across the whole of the T4 line.

Clean, modern station with regular services to the CBD. Some services are quicker than others, check the timetable beforehand.

Electronic timetables viewable on both platforms. Staff and toilet facilities only available on platform 1.Disabled access available on both platforms. Recent upgrades see lift access to both platforms.

Amazing train station, has a very good new built to it, most trains stop there and very friendly staff!
