Great spot straight across from the beach, excellent coffee made by friendly and competent barista. Coffee is a major drawer card for the place but menu is also excellent, as is the decor and level of service provided by the staff

Just appalling, went for breakfast after our wedding the night before at Portsea hotel ( awesome!!) took 45 minutes to place order and only when we chased staff, food another 50 minutes again had to chase. . Was terrible, cold hard poached eggs, 3 from 6 meals completely wrong, complained, no apology just we will discount.Was a mistake to move from Blairgowrie cafe, have had 10 plus years of perfection there. Never ever again!!!

Impossible to get the attention of staff, they forgot our order multiple times (we chased the order over 3 times) the ice coffee was Luke warm with what we assume was off milk.... not only that but once they did serve our meals we noticed one meal was disturbingly abesent, again we had to follow this up and was told a amazing hour and a half after we ordered that they had run out of stock of that dish...Wow.... and one last cherry on the cake was that we were told they would comp our drinks, fantastic we thought, one problem though.. they also forgot to get our drinks..Quite possible the worst customer service I have ever experienced...

My daughter lives near this restaurant & we visit it regularly. It has consistently good food, good coffee and the service is excellent with happy and attentive staff who clearly enjoy looking after their customers. Great live music on Sunday afternoons too. Thoroughly recommended.

Decent coffee and friendly service. When busy, the service attentiveness can drop off but the friendliness and desire to serve is always there. Cocktails are good as well. Haven't eaten here for a while so can't comment on the food. Well located near beach and shops.

Nice breakfast location with Me breeze. Very popular during holiday peak. Food is great however kids selection is more tweens than kids.

Often restaurants that are in a great location (by the sea or with a view) have fairly ordinary food or ordinary service, or both. Coast was an exception. The food was perfectly acceptable, but the service was quite exceptional. It was attentive without being intrusive, discreet and also efficient. It's not often that we see such good service in Australia; anyone who has travelled into Asia will attest to that.Well done to the team at Coast for raising the bar!

Only had great service here and very nice food. I get coffee here that is a long Mac with extra hot water and they make it without hesitation and ask midway if that is enough water and if I need extra milk. Place is busy with a more older crowd of friendly people. Parking is only tricky on the weekends. They even have a shuttle bus, now that's service.

Arrogant for no particular reason. Didn't let us in because they were booked out apparently but they had an abundance of free tables. The woman was 'kind' enough to let us know that everywhere was booked out in Blairgowrie. Walked back from the IGA to cook for ourselves and heard someone asking for a table for two just like us and they were seated immediately without a reserved table. Will stick to the friendly and non-pretentious cafes of Sorrento and Portsea thanks!
