Babajan was a nice little cafe serving Middle Eastern food. We ordered some salad and fritter dishes from the display and the eggplant Aleppo cheese toastie off their menu, and they were all very flavourful and delicious although the portions were a bit on the small side. For dessert was their crunchy tasty walnut baklava that was a lot less sweet than most baklavas in the market. Their service, however, was almost non-existent. We waited hours for someone to take our order, gave us water, delivered our food. Overall, a nice cafe with great food, but won’t be returning.

Babajan' Turkish / Middle Eastern breakfast - brunch Menu was convincing enough to travel, and by the time we reached, we were super-duper hungry.Ordered a Hot Chocolate and a Latte to go with Simit / Turkish Bread served with butter and spiced Jam, Crab and Halloumi Omelette, Turkish Pizza (sorry, can't remember the name) and Lamb with Poached EggsWe were joined by our friend, and Ozzy and He loved the Turkish Pizza sprinkled with Sumac ,(ee love Sumac) but for me, personally, it was extremely sour for my palate.Simit / Turkish Bread was loved by all three. Especially the orange marmalade jam that seemed to be spiced with saffron and cardamon (could be wrong too)Crab and Halloumi Omelette lacked the sweetness of crab meat, and couldnt see the Halloumi at all. Though, the salad served with it tasted good.Poached Eggs served with Beetroot Salad with Lamb was quite decent.Hot chocolate was fantastic but the Strong Latte tasted a bit burnt. The bottomless Tea never arrived, and neither did we realize until we got home.Quite a rollercoaster ride of likes and dislikes making it quite difficult for us to rate them. Probably, we weren't too lucky that day (not that they were too busy).Service was quick.

Great place with good service. Middle eastern food was made well and it's different to your usually smashed avocado toast but very delicious. Prices are a little high though.

The exposed wood and woody tinged bluey-green tiles… totally lured in by aesthetics of the building and the space. Half of the realestate inside is dedicated to pantry items but it adds character and certainly keeps you entertained while you wait in the queue. There’s a pretty large selection of food on offer, it all matches the middle-eastern/ Mediterranean cuisine. Like the space it looks authentic and like there is passion behind it. The selection of salads I opted for did not disappoint, two of them were remarkably good, roasted hazelnuts still brittlely crunchy - you could tell the meal was super fresh. The simit on this occasion was underwhelming, but the cabbage roll was very good. Not super cheap, but the staff were friendly, and I finished the meal very satisfied. Would return and would recommend.

Amazing food, full of favour! Definitely stop by if you are tired of the standard brunch place. Staff is really considerate too.

Incredible food. Very different brunch food - perfect if you are bored of the standard smashed avo and poached eggs. Fresh ingredients, so much flavour and lovely staff. Would recommend the eggplant toastie! Cold brew was flavoursome and turkish coffee was chocolatey.

Tasty food but weird vibe in the cafe. Staff standing around in the kitchen talking to each other while there’s plates of uneaten food out on the tables. The server was super unprofessional serving the customer in front of me, and when I asked for my potato salad to be heated up I was told it’s not possible (definitively possible to heat it up, I might add!) I’m not usually one to post negative reviews but i had a strange experience.Edit - Twas also v pricey for what you get.

Saw the manager dipped her hand on the coleslaw salad for the chicken sandwich without gloves and eating the ones that fell off. It was interesting especially in the food business.

Nice coffee, but desserts are too sweet for our liking. Baked eggs with feta and lamb were tasty.
