Big, ripe and sweet cherries. Family owned farm and the family are friendly and helpful. Will certainly go picking next time.

For the city slickers who love road trips, this one's for you...We go cherry picking every year and this year because we missed the peak season, we went to Hill Lock Orchard as their cherries were still in peak.Good fun for the entire family, especially with kids, although it wasn't entirely clean fun... cherries and kids equals a lot of dirty laundry. However, it was not just about the cherries as Hill Lock Orchard also grow all types of fruits, that they can, for all seasons. Meaning that you can go there all year round and find that there's always something to harvest. As can be seen from the pics, strawberries were our other target that day.If your kids don't eat fruit, then take them here to pick them fresh and there's no way they will not try any whilst they are picking them. Who knows, they might leave there with a taste for fruit and a new found perspective of what fruit is all about.However, it is missing a 5 Star rating due to the staff, one of them anyway, being quite rude to the point of it becoming an altercation. As I only witnessed it is why I'm still rating it, although if it was me that it happened to, this certainly would be an entirely different review.

Fabulous farm experience. Exceptional fruit and customer service. We visit every year and are never disappointed. It's our pleasure to pay for their exceptional fruit and not steal it like we witnessed others do. Love to support our regional farmers.

The cherries were nice and the experience of picking the cherries was nice, but then the nightmare started. There was false advertisement about the price. We were led to believe that 3.5 kilos of cherries was $25, since it was mentioned in the board, but apparently that was just an example". Actual price was $10 for 1 kilo of cherries

Went here with my girlfriend and a few others was a nice wholesome time. Was on boxing day this year on 34 degree heat but was worth it and the drive from Sydney, recommend doing this especially if it's your first time as it was mine. Picked out some nice juicy sweet cherries, had that much I ended up spreading out to some extended family members. Also the employees were very nice and helpful.

The farm has cherries, strawberries, Berries and apples. Obviously depending on the seasons, you can pick your own. End of December and early January is good for cherries picking.There is an admission charge of $5 per adult, free for kids.They also charge by weight per picking.There is about 200m of unpaved private road to drive to the parking lot but normal sedan should be fine).Only one unisex toilet in country standard. BYO toilet paper and hand wash and sanitiser.No food or drink for sale so BYO drink, hat and sunscreen especially during hot weather.Lots of free roaming happy chickens.Not too many flies or mozzies which is a plus.

The family who owns the orchard are lovely. I have been coming here every year for many years without any problems. The fruit is great. I saw what happened yesterday. Firstly the price is understood, you pay a entry fee of $10 which later comes off the 3kg that you pick ( not including how much people eat as they pick ) .2nd the people picked cherries & didn't want to pay for all they picked. Then after paying for some of the cherries, they had a bucket which you pick cherries in (you are supposed to return it) they were picking strawberries on their way out. If they told the owner they wanted strawberries they would have received punnets. So they've taken a bucket through the orchard without anyone seeing them.. what's not to say it wasn't full of cherries. So I don't blame the owner for calling them thieves as they already stole the bucket & we're picking the strawberries.Support the farmers, don't steal from them!!

Entry fee 10$ per adult, it was $10/kg for picked cherries. cherry were not really great taste but i guess it was weather. Need more hot days to have more sweet cherries. Cant complain for the price. Overall satisfied. Wish there were more info about where to park. Parking space could be more organised.

The point that the illiterate owners of this place need to learn before declaring someone a thief, is that the people who are burning fuel for 3 hours to visit their orchard are not meant to steal a handful of strawberries or a stupid plastic bucket, but they are visiting to have a day out and can make mistakes due to no indications for direction. They need to show respect to the visitors. That old man might not be literate enough to read the comments, however his immediate descendants waste no time to create a new account and add 5 start rating to their own business. Yes support farmers but not abrupt and ungracious behavior.This behavior should have been posted to social media platforms they use to advertise their business.
