Minkarra Park
Maintained quite well, other users respected any dogs on leads that had not been released to run around freely, secure premises. Nice place to meet others. Could do with more seats.

This is quite a nice little well maintained dog park. It's not the largest dog park but it is nice and tidy with large amounts of bark chip covered areas.There is a small shelter from the sun/rain and a few benches scattered throughout.There is also 2 entrances which each have a double gate to ensure that dogs can't escape

A nice dog park not too far from home. It's big, clean, and well lit. The lights are on in the evening too, so it's no problem taking the dog for a play in the dark.

Great set up, looking forward to trying the new small dog park. Only gave three stars due to the horrible people that are there sometimes. They are regulars and seem to think they and their dogs own the park. Their dogs jump on you with their muddy paws, threaten small dogs, almost started a fight with my large dog and stole his ball. What gets my goat is that they keep chatting and act like nothing is happening. Even if you are yelling at their dogs too get away they don't bother to intervene. They just let their dogs cause havoc. Rude and scary.

Great facility.Big enough for so many dogs.Adequate seating and shade provision.Water taps really accessible.Poo bags provided.One park size fits all though - if you have a big dog that does not like small dogs , or vice versa - this is not necessarily the park for you.

Tried it once. I'm not a dog park fan, and other comments on here reinforce why. It's an easy way out for owners to stand around and talk, and ignore their dogs. Standing around while dogs all jump on each other, is not my idea of fun. Alot of dogs are quite anxious in this environment aswell, but people don't read the body language. I would rather go offlead with my pooch, on a nice walk. That way he can say hi to others on his terms. I find dog parks are more for owners, rather than the dogs. Each to their own though.

Good place to bring your dog and the biggest of the only 3 enclosed dog parks in Onkaparinga Council areas.New changes coming for 2023 with an upgrade.

Good, clean park at the right time of day (when there's not too many dogs) but could use some lights and grass

Great skatepark until they painted it. Stupid council or what ever painted it and seaford skatepark and now when it rains they don't dry up or its really slippery especially when there's a 10 foot bowl there or how ever high it is.

Been here for over 9 years at the time of this review, spent a lot of my life at Minkarra, love it to the end and backGreat dog park, great skate park, great nature park and great playground
