I had a great experience visiting this amazing salon for the first time. I have very fine hair and still want a cut/colour with a bit of an edge - Carl certainly delivered! After 14 years of various disasters, I’m so thrilled to have found this true artist in his field. Looking forward to the many ideas he’ll throw my way! X

Carl was very rude on the phone when I called to make an appointment. Laughed at me when I asked when his next available appointment was and advised me his books are closed so probably no point even calling him if you need a hairdresser

I visited Carl at Acacia Colour & Cutting Room on Tamborine Mountain yesterday for the first time and, I can assure you, it won’t be the last. I was delighted with the whole experience. I was after a hair transformation, from long to short, and I felt completely confident in Carl’s competent hands. Honestly, he has given me the best haircut and colour I’ve had in many years – probably ever. The boutique salon is handsomely styled and very ambient (think chilled music and comfortable chairs), and the Aveda products he uses exclusively smell and feel divine. If you’re searching like I was for a skilled hair professional, who offers a personalised experience, look no further. Plus, Carl is a charming and caring person to boot! I couldn’t be happier. This person Carl called a friend's number Wednesday (yesterday) and advised that the person he was after did not have that number. He rang again the next day, Thursday (today), he was again told he rang yesterday and told wrong number. He was so blatantly rude to her over the phone. He insisted she called and left a message from her number. She lives in a different state, did not call and is not named Laurie!! Leave Jenny Alone!!
